I think you dont underestimate 4/2 pirate.
If its restore arcanite - its basicaly 4 drop with pyroblast build in.
And if it restore anchar - its draw 3 + whatever body and damage

The pirates probably all have scurvy and gangreen and can hardly walk from their long voyages, whereas crabs in wild have no shortage of full meals!
Those big lizards are just too chonky.

Hey dane, I swapped out the second Twilight Guardian for a Vargoth to much success. He's good for doubling up on Swipes for Goose, or for more armour/ramp.

8:55 4 mana 4/2 equip a 3+ cost weapon can't be THAT bad though can it? Most of the time you get a Reaper with it so it effectively pushes another 10 damage.
I think Dane was saying that thinking that they only run Ancharr
He followed up by saying that pirate warrior is good because of weapon buffs, so using a card that you can't play when you have your crucial buffed weapon on, making for a dead draw in an aggro deck, that could slow you down by enough to throw the game on its own. But idk, personally I find pirate warrior to fare just fine even when he doesn't get to buff his weapons.
You can never play it on curve though. It is simply way too slow and inconsistent to be played in a deck that has such a focused gameplan.
Is it possible to have 2 malygos on the same turn and still have 2 mana to play both living roots :/

Hey Dane, I thought about changing highlander druid to include a dragon package, but i just don't see that working. Did you think about it?

@@nowyuosee3 not great, i don't actually run into that many pirates at my rank so i went to a different druid deck, embiggen jungle giants is pretty fun. I lose a fair amount with this deck I could be playing it poorly though.

@@nowyuosee3 i actually like that somebody took the time to follow up on how it went for me, thank you. I've just found too many situations with this deck where I don't have the card I need and although it's a dragon deck and dragons are usually statted well I never seem to be able to fight for board. Maybe I should hold onto the malygos and the cards that deal damage but it looked in the video that he could just win by swipe and entangling roots for killing minions. I've also had the bad luck where the frizz floop combo just doesn't work either because frizz is at the bottom of my deck or I draw an important card like malygos long before I draw frizz and I can't actually cast that 5 mana malygos.

Since I'm back to HS after 2 years of pause, you can imagine my shortage of cards and dust so I'm trying to find some at least midly competitive deck to try and make a comeback into the game. I think I'll wait a few more days before deciding what to craft with little dust that I have. Cheers
