Hello Katrina, Thank you so much for a fabulous video. Living in the US I am so grateful to you and Jessie at Plot 37 for filming at these special places that folks like me would otherwise never see. It really is a special treat to see the plants, gardens and the people working and volunteering there. Your love of the garden and the plants that live there is very infectious. I did rather enjoy the conversation with Erica and the family history and the fern. I do hope you will keep doing more of these from time to time as you are able. Peace and blessings until next time.
Isn’t it . I am just not a gardener at all , but I watch her videos & always come away with a smile . I have learnt a few things like growing potatoes in a pot.
Hello Katrina, thank you for sharing your interesting day at Wollaton! I like this style of video and what a beautiful day of weather! You are looking your well and enthusiastic self....
So glad there's one garden who fully labels everything there's nothing more annoying when you don't know a plant and want to add to the acquisition list so well done to them 😀
Hi Katrina, Mike and I just got back from a trip to the Cotswolds and it was amazing! What a wonderful week and a break from the Texas heat. Blessings, Rochelle
This was wonderful, yes you should join them, the cost is crazy reasonable. And what an usual fern, how cool that it's named for her Great Grandfather, love that. Look forward to watching your new plants grow.
Loved your visit to walkathon hall. My sister has the yellow clematis climbing wildly through her garden in the trees it’s sooo beautiful. Loved your visit and you make a great presenter/ interviewer.
PS: That English love of gardening totally shines through from your interest and that of the HPS lady. Of course hardy in South Australia means something v different from your area
Loved that Scottish fern, 'Murray Thomson', and the story behind it. Nice touch to do an interview with a 'hands on' gardener. Next thing could be a Katrina's Allotment Question Time on ZOOM - perhaps when you hit the landmark 100,000 subscribers! By the way, traditionally walled kitchen gardens were placed about 100 yards/metres away from the big house - and probably downwind as the smell of compost heaps and manure would not be welcome.
Hi Katrina. Thank you for your video. The plant you didn't know is known as the Obedient plant as apparently you can position it and it stays put. Funnily enough my friends split theirs and i just planted it on my allotment a few days ago. Bees love it 😍🐝
Yes, that is correct and it is also very long lasting in a vase. The green leaved one stood up well to the heat this year however our variegated one was not happy at all. We are sure it will be fine next year though.
Hello! Amazing walk through the botanical garden! I love spending time in such wonderful places. Fern is extraordinary! Thank you for a great video. Happiness to you👍🌻💙
You don't know how lucky you are living in England with all it's wonderful national trust properties and the privately owned house and estates that offer public access. Here in Ireland, those spaces are either kept fully private with no public access or have been left to the state, public yes, but not managed and left to die back into the landscape. We could learn a lot from the UK approach to heritage.. love the channel btw!

Wonderful video. Very interesting 👍🏻🌹👍🏻
I have a penstemon with a dark red stem and foliage called Husker Red which is easy to get hold of. It has pretty white/palest pink flowers

Hi ms pretty....😊
Hey what's up we haven't seen you for sometimes. Is everything okay there?
I’m good thanks, I’ve been under the weather for much of October but a new video will be up later today 🙂
@@homegrowngarden can't wait to see your new video. 😍
Where are you gone Katrina
It's too bad Nottingham is way over there. I would volunteer my services as a retired graphic artist to upscale their outdoor signage.
New signs are on their way! We saw how bad it looked in the video and immediately took it down.
‘Plant people’ 😂
Old mans beard is considered a pest in NZ and is banned as it overtakes natural plantings
Miss your rubberboots wear your boots
Super organised shed ❤
