That photo of Bowie (1976) I have never seen before and I've seen thousands of Bowie photos... it is SO gorgeous. I wish these photos would just go passed a little slower!
Yes, more time is needed to study the entire picture. When I press pause, the picture goes dark and is hard to see.

So the movie producers were wrong. Yet people still know Marilyn Monroe today. While most of the beautiful actresses of the 1940s, 50s and 60s are forgotten. Yet you think the unsophisticated teenager was a better look than the beautiful star that captivated Hollywood’s most famous leading men , legendary athletes, and even a famous intellectual playwright.

I believe that the woman laying her head on the man in the Shuttle Challenger disaster picture are the Father and Mother of Christa McAuliffe, the teacher who was chosen for the mission. 😢
My main interest lies in films and filming and its stars: Exquisite shot of Anita Ekberg from movie "Artists & Models" starring Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis; Sharon Tate and her Grecian features, very lovely; an adorable and very rare shot of 18-year old Norma Jean Baker [Marilyn Monroe] a true find; Sophia Loren, always adorable but this time she forgot to shave her arm-pits. A thick stub of hair is visible. A 1956 shot of the very raw Elvis is visible, his finesse came in later years. Imagine Alfred Hitchcock teaching actors how to walk especially with his pot-belly and not so perfect figure, on the whole.
A lot of women from the 60s did not shave their armpits ...especially European women, but also hippies here in the USA ...it was the same as not wearing a bra
