We had a great time out on the water...even though we hit a few bumps! ha. To answer a few questions: Sound - The "Tinny" sound came from the Sony Action Cam with the case on it, we have been using the camera often and it sounds great when the case isn't on, but since we were on the water we put the waterproof housing on...bad idea! Oh well, no way to "re-do" if you know what I mean. Paddling - This was the first time we've paddled a boat like this, so if it was setup wrong I have no idea what would be correct. Either way it was a blast. We have loads more Alaska Vids coming, they just take a lot of time to edit. Stay tuned, I think Salmon fishing in Valdez is next on the cutting floor.
Everyone should float a river at least once. Great times, thanks for sharing. Are those RV friends that went along. Maybe show us their rigs and stories.
I busted out laughing when Jason asked "Any last thoughts?" and Nicki said "I'm sorry!" Haha that was funny. My husband and I determined canoeing is very challenging to a marriage. This was great to watch! Thanks!
What a soup sandwich... The guy should have mentioned to you the basics of rafting. Glad you guys made it. Point at what you want to avoid and back away.
im suprised they rented rafts to newbs..there is a dangerous boulder zone that most people skirt the rafts around with ropes..i run it..no problem..but not very safe for people who dont have experience oaring..
Glad you all could have that experience. Not to be picky or anything, but its pronounced Gul-CAN-a. Just so Alaskans will know what your talking about when you mention it. Maybe it was pronounced correctly later in the video, sorry if i didn't catch it. Just a pet peeve. Cheers!
what? those are the perfect rafts for that river..what are you even talking about..you ever been to alaska? or even raft? dont armchair coach if you dont know what you are talking about..i run the gulkana and kenai and other local rivers around here and a raft with frame is EXACTLY what you use..

You guy's are a riot!! lol, thanks! : )
That was fun to watch! It was great to see that I'm not the only one that's not too great with the dual paddles. :-)
Vicarious travel is a lot better than nothing.
Thanks!
Omg! ! I haven't laughed so hard since I first watched "RV". Haha! What a great trip on the river! Wonderful video!
+Doris Shanks ...Sorry Doris I am responding to RWS Browning. That is the mic of a GoPro, they are water proof but frequently sound muffled at times.

Really enjoyed this one. Alaska is the place. Thanks!
I got a good laugh out of the adventure on the water. Very cool.
That looks like a lot of fun. Thank you for posting .
Looked like so much fun!
Oh man, it's so beautiful there!
We are rewatching your Alaska trip as we plan for ours in 2022 and I wonder if you had any thoughts then about getting your own boat......lol
I live in Alaska.. I just did this trip with boy scouts and it was great. It was very shallow this year tho
That was Super Fun!
That's it, I'm coming to Alaska today!
Happy Camping!
Thanks for the bald eagles!! I won't go the raft route to get the shots though. Take more eagle pictures in the future, please.
Super fun video. I am really impressed with the video and sound quality you got from the Sony Alpha camera!
Great video. I miss living in AK.
Awesome video! I'm exhausted just watching it though! I found myself pushing and pulling with you! ha! Thanks for sharing!
Fn trip. Thanks for sharing.
This reminds me the first time I went tubing! LOL!
I enjoyed the trip, my arms and back aren't sore and I didn't get wet.
Living this life and enjoying life to the fullest with your best friend and lover, who could ask for more?

next trip kayaks down the river but you have to get there in the spring when the water is really moving you can do it!!!!
spring the water would be low..it gets high with the june melt..
LOL! Jason where's your requisite hat and shades for this bumper boat float? :)
+RWS Browning ...the mic problem is the waterproof camera container of the gopro
Yep, that's cool.
It would be nice to see you two daily vloging :)

well i guess having nice newer, boats is better then Nice New Truck/Van to haul people with old boats........
That clown car looks more dangerous then the rafting did. Lol
you guys run sourdough to richardson?
Oh, that last question about hair color, was for you, Nikki (not that Jason's isn't nice but I prefer to be a breunet).
and u peddle Backwards, not forwards... wrong boats for that watter
+Zraupp10 We paddled backwards to move slower, that's what the boat owner recommended otherwise the trip would have been over in a half hour.
Gone with the Wynns true, Lolz

matanuska high, hell no... hate stupid clumsy rafts. Have always run rivers in my solo canoe. Much more finesse and control.
first reply! yeah!
Boats set up completely wrong!
nice video but sound was the worst!!! Name the came so we dont buy that one! Use a mic when you can.. Cheers
I would ask for a refund for that crappy sounding mic .
