I like your hubby hes cooler than cool hand luke and makes it look so relaxing out there. Im a trucker and drive thru Kingman and Yucca all the time. Its a beautiful area
And maybe get those roots as deep as possible by using pvc pipes through which you put the water. Shallow roots can cause trees to go over in these Arizona windstorms. That's what I have been told anyway. :)
See if that area has a habitat for humanity's store and get granite for cheaper. even other building supplies. Love the vision of epoxy floors and glass banister. Love how you decorated the shelf. I would do white, but Judah. She needs a nozzle for the hose.
Good video. Okay I think a light gray floor would accentuate your lovely decor. Now watering, do it half and half. Because your ground is hard, the water isn't soaking in as you're flooding it. That's why it's draining away. So water a bit and go to the others and come back for a second round of watering. the water will have a chance to soak in. Thanks for getting the content out to us. We really did miss you guys!❤️🙏
I agree with watering do some and let it soak in or it floods away on the hard top soil. But once some sinks in the rest can soak in better and get down to the roots. Your plants are getting stronger.
Hi guys, please rethink the washer/dryer in your food pantry. The moisture will spoil the food. Beautiful home & views! I suggest you move the kitchen as tub shower cobos are not the same. Do it now so once you have put the counter tops on you won't have to move it. Have you ever thought about concrete countertops. I had them and loved them.
I love your homestead it’s coming along nicely. I can’t wait to see the final product. All the decor is nice. And what drew me to your channel was your decorating. And then the next time I watch you were building your homestead and I’m learning a lot from y’all. And congratulations again all your business and your mortgage 💸 free living 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🥰.
I’m from California , I would love to buy some land out there. My daughter is currently a law student for another 2 1/2 years. I was telling her after she graduates, I plan to get some land out there and create a little community for the seniors on my land with either manufactured homes or large sheds.
Simona you have the barndo styled so beautifully already! I cant wait to see the epoxy floors. I would probably do a light gray. I love ❤your faith and determination! It will be completed with Gods help!

Yayy. So glad to see a new video. I literally binge watched all of your videos. The progress so far is amazing. God bless on the remaining of your journey. I know everything you set out to do will come to fruition. In Jesus name. ❤.
How about making your bedroom an ensuite instead of having that hallway, it will make it more open and spacious. You can put pocket, french or barn door to the bathroom, or a unique archway. Not sure if this would interfere with your stairway plans, but just a suggestion😇!!!!!!!!!!
Butcher block may be comparable in price as well. The tree collar usually is green. Thank you guys for acknowledging the markers i suggested. Someone else may have suggested it as well. Big smile on my face. ❤
Glad to see you back Simona! Looking good as ever with the new hair.... For water retention, you can try to dig a shallow circlular trench (cant recall the term) around the tree to keep the water from flowing out so easily. Itll trap it in a pool and eventually (very very slowly) sink back rather than running off. As far as the manure, you normally want to process it first. My family used to do it with horse poop when i was a kid. If i recall, we would mix it with browns (materials like cardboards, twigs, toilet paper roll cardboard, etc) and i think wet it and mix it in a trashcan (cheaper than composter). Its been years, but i believe thats what my family did. There was someting about not using it raw for some reason
If you're a bath tub loving girl like me, then move that kitchen down a little and get your claw tub. You're in the middle of nowhere, and having that tub will be so great to relax in after a long day of working your land. And I love the 3rd photo for the floor.
I left this same comment yesterday and forgot to mention the book is free from his website, you may already have the materials to do it….and it may save you a trip or two to town…..There’s a way you can use soil and gravel to retain that water so that it just doesn’t drain away as fast as you put it on the plants cause the land is so arid…you can design a whole system fairly inexpensively…there’s a book Water Harvesting by Brad Lancaster…you can also use that drain water just going down the sink so it’s not wasted….
I'm not sure about the free book on his website, I'm familiar with his site and have never seen where to get the books for free, but if you go to the Kingman library, I bet they have copies of his book that you can check out (and if they don't, they can get them from other libraries using something called "interlibrary loan"). Just need to ask them about it if you go there.
Do not give them water they will take over your place I had a friend who started feeding the squirrels and they started coming on her porch messing with the windows and the door so you have to be careful with those donkeys you really need a fence around your house ❤I love your home it’s going to be so beautiful when you finish everything it’s already beautiful on the inside I love everything you have done already

Thank you so much for sharing again. I'm taking notes lol. I wouldn't have thought a black accent wall would look so elegant; those samples were beautiful. As far as your flooring, I think a soft white and gray marble would look so nice to break up the white a bit because I think u have a large white/cream area rug in the living room? Keeping the concrete flooring is def a great idea. Yall can always upgrade countertops later on when you're ready. Are u doing the same type for the bathroom? Hopefully u have the space for the separate shower & tub, because this RUclips university recommends not to put a window in your shower area because water will eventually get into your walls, idk but maybe something to consider asking your contractor about. You don't want a headache down the road. Also, maybe pocket doors can be installed for the bedroom and bathroom, to save space, especially in the hallway going to the bathroom. 😅I love you both , you are a Beautiful Couple and brave homesteader. I am so excited to be on this JOURNEY with you. Here's a picture I found on Pinterest, just a idea ❤
Love your videos and seeing how everything is coming along so beautifully! I wanted to ask have you ever used any compost and/or organic fertilizer/plant food on your trees? You mentioned all the donkey poo.... From my understanding with the exception of rabbit poop you have to wait until it fully breaks down before you can use it or it will burn your plants.
If you can see how anyone else’s epoxy floors have held up in rural areas, that would be worth doing. They’re supposed to be scratch resistant, but jagged bits of gravel can and will get tracked into the house regularly. Something like Kemiko stain could be an alternative if you decide against epoxy.
Hello Lady Simona, I simply love your videos and pray to God for you and hubby’s success. You both work so hard and I’m sure it’s encouraging a lot of viewers. I think your floors should be a soft (white) marble. Enjoy your Blessings!❤
I'm new here. I'm moving to Arizona in January. Beautiful landscape. Help me understand y'all's plan. I see the camper and furnished warehouse. Am I missing something. Catch me up..... That furniture is gorgeous. I love the rug.
Go back & watch her videos. It's not a warehouse; it's a Bardommonium .......a home that's furnished. She's getting ready to put studs & walls up. The trailer is to live in on her own property while she finishes the Barndomenium, not the warehouse. It's easier to cook, clean, use the restroom & shower in her RV. Also, she can run the AC on solar in the RV which is smaller than the Barndomenium.
Please be careful cleaning the new property. I think the light grey & white marble floor would look good. The Ecoflow & solar panels are going to work out great. I think you will need an electrician to add the wire once the company you hire puts up the studs (wood), prior to adding the walls. Have you decided if you will have a standard electric circuit breaker or sophisticated solar system combination. Start figuring out where you want your outlets. Get more of those solar bright lights for all around your RV & home. Your trees look great. Tell your husband he can get great tips from Tim & Megan Styles of I.A.G. Farms out of Mississippi. I can't wait to see hubby cook on the Brimstone again. Take your time, Simon, because you have an RV, septic, water, generator, AC, and solar to live comfortably off grid.
