Imitation Comatose by A Carnival Of Freaks [lyric video]

'Imitation Comatose' is a personal song written by Keith Davies about how he felt like a fraud for not being able to fall asleep for long periods of time. The lack of sleep was starting to ruin his life, but little did he know at the time that his lack of sleep was being brought on by a serious medical issue that almost ended his life. For well over a decade Keith suffered with stomach problems and severe lower back pain and never really found out what the problem was. As each year went by, it was getting progressively worse and worse. He just assumed that it was part of getting older and tried to live with the issue.
In 2022 Keith was admitted to hospital with severe stomach pains and was diagnosed with a closed small looped bowel. An emergency Laparotomy operation was needed to fix the problem and he has since started his recovery to full health.
With the help of Dyl Price and Tom Barraclough, he was able to create 'Imitation Comatose' and the song was added onto A Carnival Of Freak's debut EP.
