- Freezer space has been made so maybe now I can get back to knitting and crochet. Technically I still have some "Normal" Cranberry Sauce to can still but that won't take much work. Crochet is what I'm trying to get done right now on this blanket!
After watching this, you may wonder what King's Sauce is. King's is a now closed restaurant in Petersburg, VA. They do still do some pop up events if you are in that area. Their website is still active and you can buy the sauce and have it shipped and get updates on where the pop ups will be: www.kingsfamou...
It's true we live in Arizona, but my Husband's side of the family is all up and down the East Coast, so we would stop at King's whenever we could. They serve a vinegar-based sauce that is amazing with pork. We have it shipped to our house, it's that good. They are NOT on Amazon. The Pork I can is veg broth, pork tenderloin, a bay leaf, onion, a few Tablespoons of King's Sauce and Garlic. To serve I just dump the entire jar in the pan, heat it, and add more King's Sauce. We then make pork sandwiches on rolls out of it. So Good. Note: While this recipe fits safe guidelines for canning in that the sauce is mostly vinegar and the entire rest of the recipe is from Ball and County Extension offices, it has NOT been professionally tested. I pressure can this for 120 min for where I live. How and What you choose to can is up to you. I encourage you to learn safe guideline from the USDA, Extension Offices and the Ball website prior to going rogue with even the slightest changes to a tested recipe.
