El Castillo , Rio San Juan Nicaragua Walking tour of the Town

This walk takes you upstream starting from where you get off the Boat at the main Dock . That goes to your left . Just a little early morning walk to show you around town.

One of the best things about El Castillo and other villages on the Rio San Juan is the absence of vehicles. No roads, just rivers to travel along. It is wonderful to be in a place without the noise, fumes, and ugliness of cars, parking lots and roadway infrastructure.
