This is brilliant. I have a question, how do I work out or get the the correct calculations for motor size, pinion, esc size etc? So I can work out that everything will go together? Thanks
Thanks! There are so many apps you can use to select the motor kv and gearing. The ESC selection depends on hw many cells of lipo battery you want to use and the amp draw of the motor you use.
wow 9000kv on 2s doing 56 mph is insane...that car has much lower gearing than the 144001...it should hit well over 100 mph on 4s if it does not bog down...
Yes, this one has much lower gearing than 144001 ... drive ratio is 3.18 while 1.63 in 144001 ... maybe I will run on 3s but not on 4s unless I will change the pinion gear. At this speed the motor is at +51k RPM
@@johnvaldez82 the Rear Tires of 104001 are too wide for 144001 or 124019 and it doesnt fit ... you can use the Front tires of 104001 but not the rear tires.

The plastic rim of rear tires is 62 mm diam, & 38 mm wide
