I wonder if you have get to work , maybe make a yoga group? And you could invite them over and maybe they will be encouraged to take part in your yoga session ?:) and it can be pretend classes 😆

I already play with spa day too! I have a sim couple who are new celebrities and currently in the process of manipulating some celebrity "friends" for power. I like to send them all to the spa together to gossip, manipulate, and be like "oh, it's so HARD being rich and famous, I just need a day to refresh 😔 peasant, bring me a juice".
Realizing I have to put the finger nails on for every individual outfit in CAS. We desperately need a "on all" or "put on every outfit" button. Desperately.
Good idea. But I also want my Sims nails to match what they are wearing, which could be pink today, blue tomorrow. So the 'put on all' button would not be needed. :)

Not to be a downer, but I read on NolanSims' twitter that the nails conflict with a lot of existing EA clothes' textures. You'd expect them to maybe conflict with CC, but not with EA's own stuff
The fact is I love the refresh of spa day pack like you I think it is an underrated pack and I use it all the time. It actually goes really well with island and country living having a wellness retreat for your sims to take a holiday at. But Im not sure about the nails its a lot of excitement for something thats barely detectable ingame. But its fun to watch them get a manicure and pedicure that being said the fact that you can only give kids and toddlers nails in CAS is lazy and doesnt make sense. Having a kid/teen kneel down and apply it would have added soooo much more than kids getting coloured nails. It would have added a family interaction between siblings something that adds so much value to the game. Theres always got to be something.........bikes BUT kids cant ride them.....slides but kids cant use them. Dining chairs and picnic tables but toddlers cant climb and sit on them. Its a freebie still well for me it is as I have the pack and I appreciate the new aspirations and traits and I love the portability added to the equipment too and the fact that you can make it as a career.
I feel like I'm the only person who likes to cut up some vegetables, especially cucumbers to snack on 😭 also as someone with lupus and migraines, that deep hatred for the sun is real, my selfsim will be so on point lmao
I take months or sometimes year-long breaks from the Sims 4. I was so psyched when I found out today that they did a refresh on Spa Day! I'm also one of those people who liked Spa Day before the refresh, so I'm excited that there's new content for it.
The Spa Day refresh was awesome, they really added some gameplay features that spiced up the game so nicely. Now I would love a refresh for Dine Out or Cool kitchen stuff and I have some ideas for them. For the stuff pack, I think they should add moodlets to the different ice-creams and the ice-cream truck that we had in Sims 3 or just a stand as we have in Sims 4. If they wanted to add more things, maybe a new set of kitchen counters or a traditional wood oven for doing pizzas, as there isn't the possibility to do it by yourself, you can just buy it and there is just one variant. Having the ability to make different pizzas with different ingredients at home would be awesome. For Dine Out, I would love new gameplay items such as blenders, smoothie machines to add new utilities to the fruits and vegetables and the gardening skill, a new ability which would be nectar making as in the Sims 3. Because we already have the nectars, it would just be necessary to add the object to create it, some grapes to make it and the possibility to store the nectars in the basement, so I think it would be relatively simple. I would also love new aspirations as we have in Spa day but related to food, maybe one of eating healthier or another one of going to restaurants or other places to eat and discover new food... Idk, but I think these features would spice up the game and make it more enjoyable and funny to play with. 😊
I love the fact that the kids can do it and I love the new aspirations. I really wanted a family type aspiration in the cottage living where they had goals like have all family members involved in farming, have all family members befriend at least one animal, have the aspiring Sim create meaningful cottagy sentiment with each family member. And I wanted a popularity aspiration where they wanted to be the most popular in town know all townies and do favours etc. Or maybe as you say a successful farm aspiration where they cared about how much farming products etc. Or made the most of the products of the farm to create a lucrative and productive farm.
Oh yeah I was thinking like with a country twist so like do favours, and errands show off decor, deliver pies be the welcome wagon. Cos I like friend of the world but it's been the same for years I've done it so much I thought if they'd encorpperated the henford on Bagley favours and errands and things and winning awards plus general popularity ie have x amount local friends, be best friends with all your nabours, etc. that would have been a cool little twist plus worked well with what's already in the pack. Maybe give a cross-stitch/something homemade to a friend five times and have it well received. One of the rewards could be featuring on the noticeboard as being a notable town member. It felt like a missed opportunity, because it's there that you're doing these favours but the country caretaker aspiration is so general like, meet our whole pack, but I kind of wish you could have an aspiration to be like more like an Agatha, all gossipy and know everyone and be generally liked.
I liked Spa Day enough before, but I am pleased with all this new content -- and yes, the aspirations may be more mini, but at least they make sure you get your simoleon's worth out of them! I wouldn't mind more simple aspirations like these myself. . .definitely thinking I should check all this stuff out in my own game this weekend!
Honestly, I’ve been struggling to get through the aspirations and I LOVE it. No set direction to take, just goals to hit. I wish all aspirations were like this tbh. 💜
I love the pride nails! If sims autonomously get them at the spa it's a nice coming out moment! Also my ace sims can rep themselves and if they get uploaded to the gallery it's a subtle way of letting people know their preferences in storytelling. 👌

I think I only ever placed a spa once: when the pack originally dropped. Now? Yeah. I feel I probably will play with the pack more! I feel we all have our inner drama queens, much as I hate to admit it. The new trait, from what I saw here, looks like a lot of fun and plays right into that. I wasn't excited for nails, but again, having now seen what they look like in-game, and the options we have, I am very excited! It looks so much better than I expected. The wellness skill is one I play with extensively, so having a 'career' and aspirations tied to it made me very happy! But what made my cup floweth over? PRIDE NAILS! Such a small thing, so much joy!
I've never gotten fake nails on my toes personally, but my aunt used to get acrylics on her toes because she thought it made her feet look better. She thought her nail shape was weird so the acrylics allowed her to make her toes the way she wanted them to look.
I'm mad that the nails are broken though. I wanted the pack I paid for to be refreshed, not broken further lol A lot of the outfits get stripes on them in the color you set the nails as in CAS.
eh I know it sounds bad but I'm used to having visual glitches in the game anyway, I know they shouldn't be there and obvs would have preferred them to be perfected but this isn't game breaking for me and isn't gonna take away from my enjoyment

As you were quickly switching them the nails around I saw the asexual variant swatch and my heart started racing in excitement and then u said they were pride nails and said no one take this away From the us to the haters and I was like yessssss queennnn!!!! Seeing these nails and knowing I can give them to my trans sim and my asexual sim (both who are really into self care and beauty stuff) makes me feel so happy!!!! 🥳🥳🥳

The only thing I’m a little upset by is that you can’t paint your own nails? They definitely should have added the option to paint them yourself from the bottle decoration or on the vanity tables. I want them to need redoing like real life but I don’t want to be going to the spa every few days?
It doesn't have to be one or the other. Maybe more camping stuff will came later if/when there's an Outdoor Retreat refresh. This refresh was received so well that I think they will keep doing more.

The detox tea part of the aspiration makes me really uncomfortable, selling skinny laxative teas in order to be the best wellness coach doesn't seem very body positive (I know that it said "detox tea," but that's the marketable word for "sh*t yourself to lose weight tea"). I get that its realistic, but maybe that kind of realism shouldn't be simulated?
I feel the same! 😐 would have loved if it was described with typical sims humour... like a different name that still suggests the origin (detox) but makes the real thing look like a joke. however, in reality the implications of the detox tea stuff aren't particularly funny

I'm sure the tea is just meant to cleanse your system and make you more healthy not to make you "skinny" or poop yourself. The whole purpose is to be a healthier and calmer sim and at least for me, detox teas are beneficial to help cleanse. I'm sure it had nothing to do with laxatives or anything like that. I feel like you're reaching ngl.
