I never understood anything about autism or the spectrum until I had my youngest. I gave birth to her when I was 36, she’s my 5th child my other children are a lot older. I definitely parent her differently because she’s autistic, but I do discipline her because she’s smart & understands a lot of what I tell her. But I absolutely do not hit her I take her iPad, don’t allow her to do things she like. I do think I should have been a lot easier on my older children I had them in my teen years & young 20’s I didn’t have patience. I’ve apologized to them because I did a lot of hollering, I spanked them for things I could have simply talked to them about. I like this debate & it’s a conversation that should be had & a lot of parents need to be honest & admit hey I messed up because I didn’t know better.
Children that don't get disciplined end, up in jail or dead!!!! facts: my brother-in-law was always protected by his granny. She wouldn't let anybody discipline him,just last week. He was arrested for having sex with a minor, and is facing up to 180 years in jail.. after a long talk with the whole family, we all agreed that it was due to the grandma's lack of discipline... he couldn't do any wrong in her eyes!! so now we just trying to figure out how do we tell his 94 year old grandma what he is in there for????? discipline your kids!!!!💯💯

If children get whooping by parents without explanation the child becomes confused and becomes bitter because the child then believes either the parents dislike them or it's their fault. However, when a child is getting a whooping and the parent is telling them why they are getting the whooping the child then understand that their actions is not acceptable. Teenagers things are taken away privilege, games, etc. where they have to earn it back.
Spare the rod you spoil the child....yes discipline your children all of them...that's what's wrong now people think it will hurt the child to spank them,no it actually helps them stay out of trouble later in life...don't beat them or abuse them...but spankings yes most definitely...Ms.Kim.is correct and ms.kim.i never liked Beyonce and her crew either ❤❤❤

It is a matter of respect, but the new generation was raised by social media and has no respect. They have no respect for parents, family, grand parents, the law, teachers, their neighbors, or anyone. There must be discipline of some sort, or the Lord will allow it.
