He'd made a promise, after all, and as his journey continued, he learned that Twinkle wasn't going to make it easy on him. She had a fascination with the very stones known to cause her change, and he had to work to keep her away from them. He traveled many regions, learning of the different forms she could take; and Twinkle grew with him, realizing her trainer's wish and choosing not to evolve at all. They had many adventures, some silly and fun, others hard. He would often put himself in harm's way, just to keep his Twinkle safe. And as the two continued to survive hardship again and again... Their bond grew strong. Unbreakable... They never took on the League... His journey was one of discovery and friendship, not of becoming an impressive battler. But years later... That almost meant the end of his journey. In a cave in Sinnoh, he was met with surprise when a powerful dragon burrowed out of the ground to strike at him. Twinkle rose to her paws, the bright ribbons now encircling her body as out of love for her trainer, and a desire to protect him... She had taken on the form of a Sylveon, a form they had not yet discovered... Until then. And with the newfound power, she could withstand the dragon's blows with ease, sending it fleeing into the dirt... The father closes the photo album, done living in his memories for now. The kid, having a newfound respect... Reaches down beneath the couch, to give old Twinkle a scritch behind the ears for her bravery. It’s been a while since the first Pokémon orchestration you did back 4 years ago. I’ve personally been taking a long break from the series due for a lot of reasons- bullying from the community, and just losing joy in playing SV. But that doesn’t mean I will ever stop loving the franchise. Pokémon means too much to me to ever give up on. That, and Eevee and its evolutions have always been some of my all-time favorite mons. i stopped playing the main games too, honestly it's started going on a downward curve since gen 5 at least for my personal experience with the games (not saying later gens are horrible, just not as good). been checking out the newest pokemon TCG app even though i never played or was interested in the card game before. it came out in the US on october 31st, and it goes into great detail like how to play and also makes it really easy to play free to play with no pressure to spend money if you don't want to, the microtransactions aren't super agregious (but they do help. i spent some pokegold to open 50 cards at once and the dopamine is real). if you want the rush of opening cards without spending a crazy amount of money on IRL packs, highly recommend. and the card game is simple enough to understand, different gameplay from the main games but i've really been digging it. got all my coworkers at my job playing it lol

Rush, it's been a little bit, but hearing this song makes it all fine. it's such a change from your epic orchestrations, not to say that they are bad, but I think this is my favorite song you've released; it's so soft but warm and towards the end, it spins itself into a tornado of sound that, while epic, never loses that soft feeling. I know Evolution is different from the process of aging and getting older, but I'd like to think that we all "evolve" everyday bit by bit and this song makes me reminisce about my childhood, back to when I first got into Pokemon thanks to Platinum. It's different, but not dissimilar. We all grow older, grow wiser with age. Evolution is so much more, it is truly taking those experiences and becoming a better you, entering a new stage in life, carried there by your bonds. Through friendship(self explanatory), through hard work(levels), through meeting new people(trade), through finding that one thing that lets you truly define yourself(stone), or through trials some clear, some abstract(specifial conditions).

I loved all of this and I’m curious outside of the evolution music at the end what other pieces inspired you to make this? The start reminded me of tune I heard from that Pokémon movie about Darkrai but I’m unsure if that was intentional or not. In any case, the music was amazing as always and transported me to a whole new world of possibilities and Pokémon.

Genuinely cried. It takes a lot to get me to cry but this was phenomenal. Took my breath and my tears away. This is my first experience with your music, Rush, but I will tell you now this will NOT be my last... Holy crap.
I caught them all. Pokémon was the thing that has followed me throughout my entire life. I've had major high points and low points with the series but that can reflect with one's life as well. Though in the end this series has stood by me. My first partner Pokémon was a Treecko. Though I didn't know how much to play other than leveling up one Pokémon at the time it still was the Pokémon to start my entire craze for the series. Following Ash and Pikachu's adventures throughout many regions as I followed. Gotta catch em all and to be a Pokémon master ringed in my ears. The friendship and love every character shares in the anime spoke very strongly with me and has always something I've caried in my life. To show comradery and friendship to as many people as I can, to be a light in the dark for those who've wavered. I may not be the perfect role for everyone out there and have also made many mistakes up to this point and doubt my mistakes are over. I may be feeling at a mixed point with this series at the moment but my hope still stands strong that it can be better than any of it's previous installments. And if whatever comes next is a flop I still will hold this series very dear to me in the end. I've played every game, caught each and every Pokémon even from the games I didn't enjoy, and still appreciate and love each and every one of them. This isn't the end of my story and surely is not the end of Pokémon as a series. Like every episode in the anime says "As the journey continues..." Thank you for this song and allowing me to reflect on that.

Sometimes, when you evolve, things about you or your life change irreversibly. You have a different favorite food. Your hair changes to a different color. Your face looks less naturally happy. You never spend time with a certain group of friends. But that doesn't mean those things are lost. They still happened. Nothing that was ever in your life stops being a part of it. And now that you've moved on, there's room for something different. Something better, if you choose it.
My grandma used to run a pokemon nursery. She gave Eevee eggs to me, my brother and my cousins on our 5th birthdays. Apparently she gives eevees to every member in our family. she said the evolution one chooses for their eevee says a lot about them as a person. Soon the eggs hatched. I named my eevee Daisy. one of my cousins even got a pale looking Eevee. They say it's a rare mutation in pokemon. Lucky b*stard! Eventually everyone evolved their eevees. My brother bought a thunderstone to get a Jolteon. My cousins went to deep jungles to evolve their eevees into Leafeons. The pale eevee evolved into a beautiful Blue sylveon. My father had an Espeon. For some reason using water stones on the eevees was frowned upon in our family, I never understood why so. One of my cousins did though. She said she wanted a vaporeon, no matter what taboos were placed on it. one of my cousins chose to get glaceon because his dad (my uncle) also had one. I never thought much about it, but I kinda wanted to evolve my eevee into an umbreon. So we stayed up at night roaming around and fighting random wild pokemon under moonlight. years went by, nothing happened. Was I doing something in the wrong way? or did I not love my cute little friend enough? After few more years I gave up on Umbreon. maybe my eevee didn't want to evolve into one. So I went and bought a fire stone. since only person in the family with a Flareon was my grandmother herself. The Flareon was probably the mother of all our eevees. So I got the stone and gave it to my eevee. but still nothing. My grandma said some pokemons are cursed to never evolve. There was nothing we could do. I was sad, but I never stopped trying. Icy Caves, evolution stones, jungles, I tried everything. But Daisy never evolved. Eventually I gave up on evolving her. I had a few rough months when I kind of despised her, I even despised myself. But looking at Daisy playing with flowers, eating with her small cute mouth, chasing butterflies, walking with a girlboss queen attitude, sleeping so peacefully, smiling brightly even after losing a friendly battle, playing with her evolved siblings, enjoying every aspect of life and looking at me with those big dazzling eyes made me wonder if evolution is even necessary for a pokemon to be happy? soon I realized She was amazing the way she was. and I loved her nonetheless. evolved or not, she was my best friend. She was there when I was sad, sick or even angry. She helped me in my rough times. She was with me in my happiest moments with confetti in her paws. Like when I graduated, when I became a gym leader, when I got married. She was even the ring bearer in my wedding. She is the cutest thing ever. screw evolution. My cousin sometimes teased me about it, but they love to play with Daisy too. and dear sweet Daisy loves everyone and everything, except cabbage. she hates cabbage, never eats it. I even found a Z-crystal on my trip to Alola that lets my eevee borrow power from her evolved siblings. It's so cool. Daisy can even Baton pass the power to my other pokemons and she can even use move like wish to heal people and pokemon. She's like an angel, but even more cute than angels. Today's my daughter's 5th birthday, and my cousin who inherited the nursery after granny died, He (and Aster, his stupid shiny sylveon) brought an eevee egg for my daughter, in spirit of keeping the family tradition going. Daisy is around 28 years old now. That's like 1/3 of average eevee lifespan. Still the cute little Eevee. Everyone loves her. She's now very fond of my daughter and her new egg. I can't wait to teach my daughter's soon to be hatched eevee the amazing moves daisy can do. Daisy wants to sit on the egg to incubate it. She's so adorable 🥰. I wouldn't trade her for the world. She is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Even if Dialga itself offered me to go back in time to get a different egg, I would still choose her.

I'm still glad I'm getting to listen to it anyways. Incredibly soothing, very calming, just the right amount of action and buildup while still keeping that lighthearted feel to a massive, emotional hit just before a satisfying and calming conclusion.

I loved all of this and I’m curious outside of the evolution music at the end what other pieces inspired you to make this? The start reminded me of tune I heard from that Pokémon movie about Darkrai but I’m unsure if that was intentional or not. In any case, the music was amazing as always and transported me to a whole new world of possibilities and Pokémon.

Absolutely incredible work
I caught them all. Pokémon was the thing that has followed me throughout my entire life. I've had major high points and low points with the series but that can reflect with one's life as well. Though in the end this series has stood by me. My first partner Pokémon was a Treecko. Though I didn't know how much to play other than leveling up one Pokémon at the time it still was the Pokémon to start my entire craze for the series. Following Ash and Pikachu's adventures throughout many regions as I followed. Gotta catch em all and to be a Pokémon master ringed in my ears. The friendship and love every character shares in the anime spoke very strongly with me and has always something I've caried in my life. To show comradery and friendship to as many people as I can, to be a light in the dark for those who've wavered. I may not be the perfect role for everyone out there and have also made many mistakes up to this point and doubt my mistakes are over. I may be feeling at a mixed point with this series at the moment but my hope still stands strong that it can be better than any of it's previous installments. And if whatever comes next is a flop I still will hold this series very dear to me in the end. I've played every game, caught each and every Pokémon even from the games I didn't enjoy, and still appreciate and love each and every one of them. This isn't the end of my story and surely is not the end of Pokémon as a series. Like every episode in the anime says "As the journey continues..."

My grandma used to run a pokemon nursery. She gave Eevee eggs to me, my brother and my cousins on our 5th birthdays. Apparently she gives eevees to every member in our family. she said the evolution one chooses for their eevee says a lot about them as a person. Soon the eggs hatched. I named my eevee Daisy. one of my cousins even got a pale looking Eevee. They say it's a rare mutation in pokemon. Lucky b*stard!
Eventually everyone evolved their eevees. My brother bought a thunderstone to get a Jolteon. My cousins went to deep jungles to evolve their eevees into Leafeons. The pale eevee evolved into a beautiful Blue sylveon. My father had an Espeon. For some reason using water stones on the eevees was frowned upon in our family, I never understood why so. One of my cousins did though. She said she wanted a vaporeon, no matter what taboos were placed on it. one of my cousins chose to get glaceon because his dad (my uncle) also had one. I never thought much about it, but I kinda wanted to evolve my eevee into an umbreon. So we stayed up at night roaming around and fighting random wild pokemon under moonlight. years went by, nothing happened. Was I doing something in the wrong way? or did I not love my cute little friend enough? After few more years I gave up on Umbreon. maybe my eevee didn't want to evolve into one. So I went and bought a fire stone. since only person in the family with a Flareon was my grandmother herself. The Flareon was probably the mother of all our eevees. So I got the stone and gave it to my eevee. but still nothing. My grandma said some pokemons are cursed to never evolve. There was nothing we could do. I was sad, but I never stopped trying. Icy Caves, evolution stones, jungles, I tried everything. But Daisy never evolved. Eventually I gave up on evolving her. I had a few rough months when I kind of despised her, I even despised myself. But looking at Daisy playing with flowers, eating with her small cute mouth, chasing butterflies, walking with a girlboss queen attitude, sleeping so peacefully, smiling brightly even after losing a friendly battle, playing with her evolved siblings, enjoying every aspect of life and looking at me with those big dazzling eyes made me wonder if evolution is even necessary for a pokemon to be happy? soon I realized She was amazing the way she was. and I loved her nonetheless. evolved or not, she was my best friend. She was there when I was sad, sick or even angry. She helped me in my rough times. She was with me in my happiest moments with confetti in her paws. Like when I graduated, when I became a gym leader, when I got married. She was even the ring bearer in my wedding. She is the cutest thing ever. screw evolution. My cousin sometimes teased me about it, but they love to play with Daisy too. and dear sweet Daisy loves everyone and everything, except cabbage. she hates cabbage, never eats it.
I even found a Z-crystal on my trip to Alola that lets my eevee borrow power from her evolved siblings. It's so cool. Daisy can even Baton pass the power to my other pokemons and she can even use move like wish to heal people and pokemon. She's like an angel, but even more cute than angels.
Today's my daughter's 5th birthday, and my cousin who inherited the nursery after granny died, He (and Aster, his stupid shiny sylveon) brought an eevee egg for my daughter, in spirit of keeping the family tradition going. Daisy is around 28 years old now. That's like 1/3 of average eevee lifespan. Still the cute little Eevee. Everyone loves her. She's now very fond of my daughter and her new egg. I can't wait to teach my daughter's soon to be hatched eevee the amazing moves daisy can do. Daisy wants to sit on the egg to incubate it. She's so adorable 🥰. I wouldn't trade her for the world. She is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Even if Dialga itself offered me to go back in time to get a different egg, I would still choose her.
...Oh! and I found out why vaporeon was tabooed 💀(uncle Joe is in jail)

Umbreon's been my favorite pokemon since I laid eyes on it in Gold around '00/'01. I remember getting a GBC (One of the clear purple ones) for christmas in first grade with Blue and Gold version and I don't think there's ever been a gift I was more excited to get.
