The Norwich fans were brilliant mixing with them around Cardiff and I can remember kicking a ball about outside the ground.I wrote to Delia Smith saying how great the Norwich fans were, she replied and wished us all the best in the premier league.Along with the Carling cup final these were days I’ll never forget.
Watched it in my now home of Boston USA. Former season ticket holder recruited Celtics fans in the bar to cheer for Blues that day after their game had finished. Jumped around with me as the winning kick went in. One day we can dream we'll be back with our amazing support again. KRO
memories .. my dad and me was here and it was one of the best times of my life you literally hugged who ever was next to you and my dad is not here now but the memory of blues going up was fantastic and it looks like we will finally have a good owner in tom wagner
I remember this day like it was yesterday. I was 9 years old and my dad and I were listening to it on the radio and we almost took the roof off. It was made even more special because we live in Norfolk and are surrounded by Norwich fans. Gah epic. Lets bring these days back, blues!
I was there! 9 when this happened! Don't think I quite understood the magnitude of the day back then! Fair play Brum! We'll see you next season! OTBC! NCFC!
What a fantastic day that was. I was there with my son, and when it went to penalties, the nerves set in. Before the game though had some fun with the Norwich fans who were great sports
Arguably the most important Play-Off Final of all time due to being at the tail end of the ITV Digital Crisis, this game was about financial survival for both clubs.
It was an amazing season and a amazing journey to get us their the players beleived they would get us their that day and did they just do that totally amazing day never forget,pukka.SOTV.....
First time I have watched it since, to painful. Forgot about some of those players we had. I also remember Ipswich fans giving it large afterwards. I think they were relegated that season from the Premier league and the last thing they wanted was to see us promoted. How football can make or break your week. Ridiculous really. OTBC
My Dad, big blues fan was seriously ill at this point but will always cherish his smile at the final whistle. Hope blues can make it back up one day

That's one thing we will always have and that's a good owner hopefully Birmingham find there feet again Bowyer looking like he can do a good job
It was a great atmosphere, both sets of fans mixing happily, no trouble, I've had a soft spot for Norwich ever since.

1 of many a, happy/a sad or an emotional memory of supporting/following/watching BCFC in their best ever achievements since 1875

I WAS PISSED UP & OFF MY HEAD ON POPPERS,WENT ON THE PISS FOR A WEEK!
Wonderful...
If i remember correctly, I think there was an pre-match agreement, that who ever won, they would give their appearance money to the other side.
Steve Bruce the most unloyal manager in the entirety of football history , how many rival clubs has this man managed
A job is a job to some people....I suppose.
This is a cool vid
