Hello! I've been watching your videos for over a year now and they've been a huge help for me! Thank you so much for your effort and this fantastic content! Best wishes from Hungary🇭🇺
00:04:37 You said "just use 2 or 3 sentences". You just made an answer with only 3 sentences, but each sentence had about 3 clause. I was wondering as a beginner level speaker if i can't say that long sentences, then should I say more than 3 sentences?
Hi! It depends on your target band. Are you aiming for a band 6? If so, 2 - 3 short sentences is definitely enough. However, you should try to use at least 2 clauses for each sentence, as this allows you to make complex sentences which are key to getting a higher band. Overall, I just hope my students give details to their part 1 answers, but make sure part 3 answers are significantly longer.
@@JacksEnglish Thank you for your kind answer! By the way, do you have any plan to upload a video about part 3 strategy? I've bought your book but it would be better if I could saw your more detailed explanation on video.
@@aseungil No problem! And thanks for using my textbook to help prepare for the exam. I don't plan to right now, but perhaps I will do a part 3 focused bonus episode in the near future. I personally think it's the hardest part of the exam, so I do try to give lots of advice in each episode of my podcast. I will start thinking about a part 3 focused lesson soon!
Speaking part 1 is the easiest section of the exam, but I hope this helps improve your answers! Part 2 structure coming soon!😀
Waiting eagerly for part 2 😃
I’ll upload on Monday!😀
Jack, your videos are immensely valuable for English learners, particularly for students preparing for the IELTS test.
