Respectively, the sentence about Posca markers was wrong, u can blend with Posca markers just as well. U just need to do it with special techniques like blending when the paint is wet.
@@Shrimpy Coucou, moi j'ai l'ensemble de 215, du coup, je ne sais pas trop ceux qui me manque. Je pense qu'il me manque les pastels + le sac de 104..🤔 Quand pensez-vous ?? 🤩
I have this one brand of markers called Soucolor which have both a fine point and a broad side on each marker. And the caps have the color codes on them which I find cool.
I personally use ohuhus the most because of the price, but i have bought a lot of copics second-hand which was a good decision! Most of the markers work perfectly fine, and also the refill bottles are a life saver
Posca is basically like acrylic paint since its basically acrylic paint in a pen you need tones that are close to eachother to show shadows insted of blending
i only look out for brush tips. brands don’t matter to me, honestly. i messed up and got a whole big pack of ohuhu’s with chisel tips and they’re impossible to not have streaky lines with when i use them (unless anyone has tips- that’d be greatly appreciated)
If you try really hard and finger paint A lOT you can blend posca markers also depending on the surface your drawing on it’s easier, I love them and use them all the time with blending and stuff
For POSCAs, they’re not really made to blend. They’re more so made to be an alternative to painting normally with acrylics. I really like using POSCAs because it’s like painting without the extra hassle of having the paint tubes, brushes, water, etc. for what they’re made for, they’re awesome.
You can blend posca, the same way you can blend acrylic paint because they are acrylic paint. It just plays by different rules than alcohol markers. blending light colors into dark colors may easily make them muddy for example. Posca has cheaper alternatives as well and artists should get both as they will be used to different things :(
Personally, I'm not an artist, but i would use my aquamarkers that i got as a present from a pizza place bc they don't blend well but i dont like blending i mostly find a drawing and sketch it by using my tablet and putting paper on it so i can trace it
I much prefer ink vs paint or alcohol markers. What would be a good choice? I have a single red Tom Bow brush tip pen and really enjoy how it lays down but it hits max saturation after two swipes, leaving little room for blending.
Yea...but it also depends on skill. If you are a newbie, then buy ohuhu and learn. Later on, you can also buy posca or copic, depending on how much money you have, or what kinds of art are you gonna draw. juuust remember that knockoffs are generally pretty bad, unless you are lucky.
summary: Copic Markets are the highest quality and are the ones you should buy (if you are rich). If you are broke buy ohuhu markers because it's cheap and arguably the best marker brand on the universe and if u are thinking about buying poscas it's like using sketcher shoes
Why did no one mention Prismacolors in the comments? I feel like Prismacolor brand markers are very widely known and are a great product. From my experience with the Copics I've used, the PC is right there up there with them but normally a little more affordable.
Best choice for value is Ohuhu Posca for graphical art, Copic for highest quality (although EXPENSIVE AF!!) And Ohuhu is a good middle alt to copics for fellow broke comrades

5$ for a singular Marker is genuinely insane
frr
it’s worth it, trust 😎
Over here in Texas at Micheal’s it’s $8 dollars A marker !! I bought like 84 😭and fun fact in Japan did Yk there like $2-3 dollars !!! Import taxes 😭😭
Damn only 5 USD dollars? In Australia, it's 7.41 USD dollars which means 11AUD dollars per marker.
They have em out in the open at Michael’s. I mean I’m just saying they aren’t in packages. U can but singles. Five finger discount
if anything id pick ohuhu, because of the value you get 😉
fr man the value is crazyyyyyy
Yeah, I went with Ohuhu, and it works well
@@CannonCrew-oi9hdis brush or fine markers better
@@zhiine. brush
@@BernadetteDamman i got fine 😭

@@Shrimpyyo how much does Posca cost in South Asian countries?
They are expensive
@@subbabimal383 in countries like japan or Korea poscas are a lot cheaper, mainly because they manufacture them there

What are the brand of markers that look like q tips and are extremely satisfying and look like paint and people on RUclips use them on wood

I know
Agreed
Your drawing are🔥🔥🥶🥶
ayyyy thank you Trax!
First! I personally use all three! Poscas are amazing for cartoon, but I love using my ohuhu and copics! Keep up the great content bro!😊

I'm surprised you didn't cover prismacolour markers. I got them in a set alongside my first copics and used them together pretty seamlessly
Fire vid saving for the 320 ohuhu set myself
yessir bro!!!! it’s such a good set, you’ll love it for sure

I used chameleon alcohol markers, I think you would love them you should definitely get some
I have this one brand of markers called Soucolor which have both a fine point and a broad side on each marker. And the caps have the color codes on them which I find cool.
I think ohuhu, but used to be a posca lover , they can blend if you have the right papers
Everyone else focusing on the makers
Me hearing the migeul O'Hara theme song play in my head
I personally use ohuhus the most because of the price, but i have bought a lot of copics second-hand which was a good decision! Most of the markers work perfectly fine, and also the refill bottles are a life saver
Not the glue stick you opened😭😭😭
ur the first person to notice ahahahaha
U can totally blend with poscas it just takes time and effort

Posca looks like in the actual artstyle while the one in the middle looks in between and the first is just doing it own thing
You can blend posca, the same way you can blend acrylic paint because they are acrylic paint. Posca or whatever the name is is the type i want! I dont rlly want mixing, i need it to have the hard not mixing texture like it!
I use theese markers called Lyuvie markers it’s 120 for 20 bucks
Letraset promarkers, Winston & Newton promarkers, Create with Adlibris, and Sense Markers.
Are those I have for now.
Try the creative expert one its good in blending
Ohuhu are really good I have them
Copic is definitely my favorite-Ohuhu is great but the nibs fray. Copic nibs are like heaven
Posca is kinda more for that 90s animated style where the shades are very hard and tend to not blend
To blend posca markers: oversaturate the nibs and get a lot of paint down then blend when still wet with a sponge or something
Thanks you so much this helps me choose what I like to buy saving me money alot of money just need to tell me where to buy them?
ohuhu is the perfect balance, ordering my first set too
I would add Arrtx to compare as well vs Posca
I am getting copic ciao markers soon!
Not anymore😢
Just a tip, lower the music volume or just use instrument (better if you don’t put music at all) so we can hear you clearly

they do blend. yes, with water. just use an aquarell brush

Posca pens actually blend quite well, you just need the right technique
Can you make a video about the paper you‘re using?
i actually do have a video on it! if u check my yt i made a video called "best art supplies to get in 2024"

Wow That Poscas Black's
so nice ❤
It is about $2.20-$4.50 in Singapore!
I had copics but the ink of many of them ( especially grey) floted out of the pen while drawing and ohuhu are so good. Better then posca in my opinion
I’m happy cus my dad is an artist and has all colours of copic markers and I get to borrow them whenever I want 😎✌🏻
I’m lucky cuz my dad buys sets of any markers i want so i could just buy some 400$ sets of markers
New sub! ❤
Btw where do u buy these markers from? (i mean ohuhu and i mean in germany)
Thank you shrimpy this video saved me about 100 brain cells for next time I’m in officeworks
ahahahah I gotchu man, I don’t think officeworks even sells Ohuhu but they sure love their Copics and Poscas
Yeah they should sell ohuhu but another good one I’ve found are the Born. Ones they’re really nice

are paint markers and acrylic markers the same?? great video
The ohohu blend test looks wayyy better than the copics
You can blend posca but you need to blend it when it is still wet
Heyy, im kinda in europe and i would like to get the second marker, where do you think i can posibly get them on Balkan or an online shop?
I have Ohuhu there very good markers :)
Posca’s can blend…but you’ve got to wait for the first color to sit.
Question why do my “ART” markers keep staining the papers? I’m not even pressing too hard or anything just treating it like a lightly pressed pencil
I REALLY need markers but I don’t have enough money for it
How are touchcool markers??

What markers look like paint and like a q tip on the end and I’ve seen RUclipsrs use them on both wood and paper?!
so copic markers for great details while ohuhu great for starters and cheap Posca is good for customizing things that need acrylic markers
U need to blend on arycrilic paper and blend fast before the paint dries
