      Over here in Texas at Micheal’s it’s $8 dollars A marker !! I bought like 84 😭and fun fact in Japan did Yk there like $2-3 dollars !!! Import taxes 😭😭

    Respectively, the sentence about Posca markers was wrong, u can blend with Posca markers just as well. U just need to do it with special techniques like blending when the paint is wet.

    First! I personally use all three! Poscas are amazing for cartoon, but I love using my ohuhu and copics! Keep up the great content bro!😊

    I'm surprised you didn't cover prismacolour markers. I got them in a set alongside my first copics and used them together pretty seamlessly

    I have this one brand of markers called Soucolor which have both a fine point and a broad side on each marker. And the caps have the color codes on them which I find cool.

    I personally use ohuhus the most because of the price, but i have bought a lot of copics second-hand which was a good decision! Most of the markers work perfectly fine, and also the refill bottles are a life saver

    Posca is basically like acrylic paint since its basically acrylic paint in a pen you need tones that are close to eachother to show shadows insted of blending

    i only look out for brush tips. brands don’t matter to me, honestly. i messed up and got a whole big pack of ohuhu’s with chisel tips and they’re impossible to not have streaky lines with when i use them (unless anyone has tips- that’d be greatly appreciated)

      Avec les markers à alccol, je pense qu'il faut colorier assez vite. Pour démarrer, on peut utiliser des markers d'une sous-marque. Ensuite, une fois qu'on a pris un peu d'expérience, on continue avec les markers Ohuhu, et là c'est une sensation géniale !! Ces markers sont l'avenir !! 🥰

    If you try really hard and finger paint A lOT you can blend posca markers also depending on the surface your drawing on it’s easier, I love them and use them all the time with blending and stuff

    For POSCAs, they’re not really made to blend. They’re more so made to be an alternative to painting normally with acrylics. I really like using POSCAs because it’s like painting without the extra hassle of having the paint tubes, brushes, water, etc. for what they’re made for, they’re awesome.

    You can blend posca, the same way you can blend acrylic paint because they are acrylic paint. It just plays by different rules than alcohol markers. blending light colors into dark colors may easily make them muddy for example. Posca has cheaper alternatives as well and artists should get both as they will be used to different things :(

    Copic is definitely my favorite-Ohuhu is great but the nibs fray. Copic nibs are like heaven

    Posca is kinda more for that 90s animated style where the shades are very hard and tend to not blend

    To blend posca markers: oversaturate the nibs and get a lot of paint down then blend when still wet with a sponge or something

    Just a tip, lower the music volume or just use instrument (better if you don’t put music at all) so we can hear you clearly

    Personally, I'm not an artist, but i would use my aquamarkers that i got as a present from a pizza place bc they don't blend well but i dont like blending i mostly find a drawing and sketch it by using my tablet and putting paper on it so i can trace it

    I much prefer ink vs paint or alcohol markers. What would be a good choice?
    I have a single red Tom Bow brush tip pen and really enjoy how it lays down but it hits max saturation after two swipes, leaving little room for blending.

    I had copics but the ink of many of them ( especially grey) floted out of the pen while drawing and ohuhu are so good. Better then posca in my opinion

    Yea...but it also depends on skill. If you are a newbie, then buy ohuhu and learn. Later on, you can also buy posca or copic, depending on how much money you have, or what kinds of art are you gonna draw. juuust remember that knockoffs are generally pretty bad, unless you are lucky.

    summary: Copic Markets are the highest quality and are the ones you should buy (if you are rich). If you are broke buy ohuhu markers because it's cheap and arguably the best marker brand on the universe and if u are thinking about buying poscas it's like using sketcher shoes

    Why did no one mention Prismacolors in the comments? I feel like Prismacolor brand markers are very widely known and are a great product. From my experience with the Copics I've used, the PC is right there up there with them but normally a little more affordable.

    Best choice for value is Ohuhu
    Posca for graphical art, Copic for highest quality (although EXPENSIVE AF!!) And Ohuhu is a good middle alt to copics for fellow broke comrades
