Wow, the first half is so similar to the free program that kamila valieva did when she won the junior world championships in Tallin about 3 years ago ….same music too
Your arms are so graceful and in true Swiss tradition you are an incredible spinner. You also like Carolina Kostner have great flow and speed across the ice for such a young skater. Congrats on such an awesome achievement at Europeans! As a physician (and I couch this by saying if I'm way off then please ignore me as it's not my place nor my intention to be critical of anyone else), I hope you have a great team between your coaches and family. Always make sure you listen to your body, eat adequately and get enough rest - between all the injuries suffered by the Tutberidze skaters and the long history of skaters vulnerable to eating disorders (Adam Rippon, Bradie Tennell, Anna Scherbakova most recently but of course long established in the sport) I wish you safety health and continued success in all that you do
I started following her like 2 years ago because I was dating a swiss girl at the time who also happened to a skater (same girl who got me into skating), and at the time I kept saying how cool / interesting Kimmy's hand/finger/wrist placement was and my ex told me it was because of all this modeling she did or something? Anyways. Holy oh my jesus she's gotten so so SO good. Insane. This was incredible. Way to go. And by the way, I still think she has the best hand placement out of anyone I've ever seen.
She's giving me 2002 Carolina Kostner. She hasn't really grown into her body and talent yet. There's a lack of extension when she lands the jumps, the knee bend isn't consistently there, but the technique is sustainable and she definitely has an innate expressiveness and charisma that I think will develop into a wonderful sense of music and performance. ... ...of course I also thought the same Elene Gedevanishvili in 2005
I love her, she is fragile thin but very strong at skating. All she needs is a little longer skirt because she has those long legs. Wishing her the best.
Kimmy Repond won Bronze not silver. Loena Hendrixx from Belgium won silver behind the new european champion Anastasiia Gubanova from Georgia. But her free program was the second best behind Gubanovas, for anyone who is confused about that. In the end Loena had more points in sum due to her short program. I watched it live and was really amazed by all of them. Although I had to say that Ekaterina Kurakova from Poland would have deserved a medal as well. Her expression was just much better than Reponds and Hendrixx. Just my opinion.
Congratulations to Kimmy for the European Bronze medal. But I hope skating fans understand that if the new age requirements were fully implemented for this season, Kimmy would not be age qualified to compete. My only point is, the new age limits are ridiculous. If applied in the past, Tara Lipinski, Sarah Hughes, and Alina Zagitova could not skate during their Olympic winning seasons. And there are countless World Gold winners, GP Final winners, European and Four Continents winners that would not have been age eligible.
@@Womanincorset Except in Russia where Ice Shows are still a big thing, there isn't much money in Figure Skating. Those young Gold Medalists retired and went on with their lives.
