Hi Mark, I like your ride reviews a lot. Concise and informative. Keep them coming. Just two small feedbacks to make your reviews standout even more. 1.) Do a standing roll out without any throttle inputs to see if the bike is able to get going without stalling. Most Suzuki bikes have this anti-stall features. 2.) Can you do a high gear start on your future bike reviews? Like say a 3rd gear standing start. I know that a lot of big bikes such as the Suzuki GSX S1000 can roll out easily from 5th gear without any issues. It would be nice to see how tractable and refined different engines are from each the other.
Thanks for the feedback Marcus...I'll keep that in mind ...yes I know about the Suzuki feature like on the v Strom ...sv etc very handy Best regards mark

I am truly amazed that a C.V.T. drive can be quite efficient, considering that it relies heavily on friction to convey traction. I don't know when this was invented, but it was a real event in the realm of automatic scooters, in my view. They must be quite costly to build. How long do they last before needing to be replaced?
Looking at reviews of the new model Honda PCX 125cc and it's also highly regarded. Notice it's cheaper than the Zontes, although not quite as well equipped. Would welcome your review and opinion on the comparison Mark.
That's great Shaun. I'm planning to buy Zontes GK 350/ T350 T2, but concerned about its fuel consumption. Are you getting 95 MPG consistently? Or only on long rides?

So there I was ready to pull the trigger on an Nmax this Saturday, then I saw this video of the Zontes 125, which looks amazing. What are your thoughts on this decision? I'm having trouble deciding now?
Haha tricky choice...the zontes rides superbly and is powerful for a 125 ..and I'm sure it's cheaper than the Yamaha....maybe absolutely long term ownership the yam may be more reliable but the zontes are very well made I'd go for the zontes myself because I know how well it rides Best of luck mark

Great review Mark!. Well, it's £1500 cheaper than the Honda Forza 125 which is heavier by a long way and is arguably less appealing. The PCX is cheaper but not by much. This is the first twist and go scooter that realistically challenges Honda in the rider comfort and practicality stakes. Even better value is the 310cc version of this scooter which is miles better value than a Honda Forza equivalent so the remaining question is dealership support and long term reliability.
Hi Mark, what does the bluetooth option on the menu system actually do? Also is there any kind of navigation possible using the screen for route directions via an app etc?
Mark you say the Zontes is good for 100mpg, the Honda Forza is good for 120 mpg ( your Forza test) I think the difference in mpg is a signal of how better Honda are over Zontes as engine makers, Honda know how to make low-friction engines and how to design cylinders valves and combustion chambers to extract more energy from the fuel. Recall the Honda Insight hybrid car sold from 2000 - 06, the Insight was a showpiece for Honda R&D, the cars were good for 100 to 110 mpg, one did Lands End to John o Groats at 103 mpg
