3:25 That was done on purpose as a demonstration of the importance of a vacuum valve. That tanker was collapsed on purpose to teach people what happens when you drain a fluid from a tank without letting air in. See all those people in the blue shirts watching? Those are trainees.
Yes, I know this was a trainer incident. I saw another video of it. It took about 40 minutes for the tank to collapse --- I think though I don't remember for sure.
True. Very old video. Quite impressive, like my science teacher doing a demo, decades ago on a tin can... small amount of water in it, cap open, burner below... then after steam and hot air escapes, whack the cap back on. Crunch! Great demo. 😎
@@maxhugen It really is an amazing way of demonstrating how much air is pressing down on all of us. I've seen a handful of other videos showing the effect. Best was what looked like a standard smallish septic tank truck. It was close enough to a pretty good quality security cam and went completely at once. Since it was actually part of a working truck, you could really appreciate just how much energy was involved. addendum: props to any company who actually sets up a demo like in this video. They are using money to brute force safety into peoples hearts and minds. Like a sledgehammer. So props to any company willing to do these realworld demonstrations.
@@whyjnot420 I became more aware of air pressure decades ago when I was scuba diving. On a deep dive to a wreck, my air only lasted 10 mins vs 60 mins at the surface, as I had to breathe it at almost six times normal atmospheric pressure to equalize with the water pressure at that depth.
@@maxhugen I remember years back when I first learned about how gasses are consumed underwater and how depth effects it. It was a perfectly obvious thing, but just presented to me in a way unlike how I had considered it before. Quite interesting. It is easier to implode a pneumatic bulk tanker than you might think. These trailers/railcars require constant supervision when under pressure. Ifound the simplest way to do that with a trailer (not railcar) is to sit on the product line underneath the trailer while offloading/transloading. The temperature and vibration of that line tells you all you need to know. And you know when you needto run for the blowdown valve even before your hearing tells you.
3:46 I think the guy hanging there is actually expending more energy, he's holding his whole body weight up, while his weight + the ladder is being split by two people.
8:00: It's hard to see in this video whether this is a totally competent person caught in the middle of a worn-out product --- and even Black & Decker's products wear out too, of course --- or whether this is indeed a so-called idiot at work who forgot to zip up the bag again after he emptied it the previous time.
There at the end, I got the impression that whoever it was who was laughing had pranked him and unzipped the bag, maybe to see how long it took him to notice. Some people are so cruel with their "pranks" anymore.

I laughed so much watching this video 😂, it’s full of hilarious work moments!
That worker dancing is so good 😁😁👍

Such a well-made compilation!

Heh
This made my heart melt.
These unbelievable moments caught on camera are nothing short of a miracle
Thank you for all the laughs! 😊

So what's with the giant glass panes being broken while the local yokels looked on?

I’m convinced they’re just practicing for a blooper reel at this point. 🎬

those people with the funnels... wow
Yeah like what was wrong with them.
@@rzella8022Their hats must have been too tight.
@3:28 Is not any accident or screwup. It's an implosion test. The company even made an event for it.
You are correct. Another way you can look at is that the Jolly Green Giant just finished his beer and crushed the can.
I wonder what's in there
Why is he breaking all the expensive glass? It looks like he's doing it on purpose why why why why???
My only guess is there was a defect in it's temper or it was supposed to be laminated and it was ordered as tempered instead
I would guess it’s was a mis measure once the glass is tempered it cannot be cut an expensive cock up

Peter Parker was not a journalist. He was an independent photographer.
You’re right.
A photojournalist?
26:38 MidSommar reference is actually so crazy
9:31: I doubt that this was an idiot at work. It looks more like a defective valve in the gasoline dispensing wand.
FYI: It's called a gas nozzle.
6:08 either arranged, or an abusive boss and the worker has to swallow that, he should have quit on the spot.. that is disrespectful
How many people were fired during the making of this video
Thank you for sharing the video it's very interesting, I didn't waste my time watching it
If you didn't watch it, how would you know if it was interesting or not? That is the dumbest comment I've ever read.
Guy covered in white paint is drunk. Speaking Afrikaans. He doesn't know why he's covered in paint 😂
I’ve never seen someone not know how to use a funnel 🤯🤭
I've seen it way too much. Such a simple tool, too.

The tanker employing was no accident ! It was part of a demonstration. Looks like most of this video isn’t about idiots at work . So many prank clips.

12:50 To be fair, that probably saved some money on explosives.
Reminds me of the Titan submarine😮
8:25: What the hell? --- you broke one piece of glass and then you did it again --- and again --- and again.
Maybe there was some flaw in the glass that made it worthless, so it was destroyed.
It was probably the wrong dimensions. The truck driver is responsible for returning it to the sender! He just needs it unloaded!
