@A seriously? You two think before you comment. The ear piece is just a convenience, there's no reason to not make it work with the smartphone speaker. The proccessing is coming from the smartphone anyway or did you not notice the fact he's holding up the smartphone.
It need to auto select the type of translation you need with out you needing to select becouse there are so many types out there you will be picking up you phone and trying to find out what language they are speaking.
This tech works well if you already have an understanding of the foreign language you are trying to communicate in, for example if you want to talk to someone who speaks Mandarin Chinese and you are speaking to them in Enlgish, you should speak to them only in present tense while adding time informative nouns/adjectives to specify past, present or future, because if you go all out in English or most western languages and use verbs in different tenses, the translation to Mandarin will be all kinds of messed up, lol!
You say it works well, but I never saw an example. I just came from another video showing the same device and it couldn't get the translation right. No matter how hard they tried the translation was wrong every time.
Apple will steal this idea and then sue them for it! Or Tim Cook will say "It's not about being the "First", it's about being the "best." Then charge 700 bucks for them! 😂
Google had a translate app out years ago. It's called Google Translate. It's free and it doesn't require anyone to wear an ear piece. All it needs is access to your mobile phone's microphone to listen.
You get to understand it all ! Lol I've been thinking of doing that just with the google translate app. Because it will translate to me on my phone. But I'm not sure I want to know what they might be saying about me 🙈🤣 I just might cry LOL😳😫
Why not? While they are standing side by side and the earbuds using bluetooth, connected to the smartphone he's using, it's not the smartphone itself that does the actual processing of translating it on the fly but rather the translation is done in the cloud. If it's done on remote back end server then why would communicating over distances be an issue. Also, across the internet as long as the connection is good distances are irrelevant. I could have a bad server connection to a server just 1000 miles away but a better connection to a server 10 000 miles, distances are irrelevant. Location however is not.
So Pixel Buds eh? Not gonna lie. This is amazing tech and our focus should be on things like this for phones. I have Pixel 2 buds and use them like this at work regularly. It's amazing.
That's really awesome, but you gotta have strangers sticking this thing in all of their ears? That's super dirty- who knows how clean or dirty someone's ears are. Then a little later you'll hand it to some other stranger. Really cool, but pretty gross!
❤this tec is best for language understanding one person to another person.❤
brilliant... bringing the world back together as one
Holy shit this could be the next big thing
total total agreed bro :) this could gather together the world in one :)
@@onadadiz7192 It has 16 languages though. Only about 6000 more to go ;)
In a chaotic world where language is a barrier and motive of offenses. This is the best device.
Ich möchte auch so eine habe ich kann nicht französisch musst du mich auf die überdecke
Im still not putting an ear bud on different strangers every time i hit a language barrier anywhere.

I predicted this thing 10 years ago and now is reality.
It's just an translation app with 2 Bluetooth earphones.
So it's 2021, it's been 4 years since this video, where can i buy one?
Duvido o aparelho entender corretamente os sotaques e a diferença da velocidade da fala. Mas é um recurso bem interessante.

Or they will buy this company out for hundreds of millions haha.
What if I’m in the nail shop🤔

Can it work with out another person using the ear piece
Interesting concept
Can you tell me the application name?
Does this work on two different continents? Can you have a conversation with someone in a different part of the world?

The earphone needs to do the translation without a phone acting as a middleman. This can be done. it will be done. THE idea is old as hell
Just use Google translate. its free
