In the Old Testament, King Saul lost his throne because of his insecurity from David’s success. Saul saw David as his enemy and tried to kill him.
Insecurity puts the focus on ourselves, allowing pride to take root in our hearts and minds.
We all feel the temptation to live selfishly, but the Lord calls us to set our attention on His Kingdom, not our own kingdom. One of the keys to winning the mind games in your life is through fostering a secure heart with your identity in Christ and God's plan for your life!

I forwarded a couple of your video messages along with your interview with Dr. Greg Jantz and your Mind Games book to a close friend as their daughter is vulnerable because of a boyfriend who doesn’t have healthy boundaries and trying to gang up on her with a collective group that’s trying to make her believe he’s the best person for her. He’s demanding their relationship to advance quickly and move forward to marriage. Sadly pastor out of town mikes away from home is being used as a tool for the young man to force her into believing that she’s confused about the situation, rather than allowing her home church back home to be her guide.
