Throne of glass is the only series that is at the same level as Harry Potter for me, I adore the series so much Aelin will always be my favourite and Lorcan is my number 1 SJM man 💕

I am so scared to read assassins blade and kingdom of ash again😣 I also get confused why assassins blade is being recommended to be read after Heir of Fire. I am so glad I read it in order. I love Sam so much! Before we meet Rowan I was PRAYING Sam would come back to life.
On my first read of this series, I read Assassin's Blade after Crown of Midnight. Hearing the quotes back, you have convinced me to read The Assassin's Blade first when I do my reread. ❤ I think I will enjoy Throne of Glass so much more that way. (It was a 3 star for me on first read.)

⚔🏰 I adore Throne of Glass so much. I just reread it last year, but every time I see people reading it I want to reread it again. I started annotating the series last year, but I got impatient and stopped after Crown of Midnight. I kind of regret that now.
Assassin's Blade is such an amazing collection of stories. The way SJM made you fall in love with Sam was so good. Sam Cortland needs more. I wish we could have more of him.
Throne of Glass was a fun entry into the story. Dorian is so sweet and I love him. He really has the short end of the stick in life. I like the Rattle the Stars quote, but I also like when Nehemia renames Celeana. "I give you this name to use with honour, to use when other names grow too heavy. I name you Elentiya, 'Spirit That Could Not Be Broken.” Every time, "My name is Celeana and I will not be afraid." is said was just a gut punch too.
Crown of Midnight I remember when I first read the part where she becomes fae I had to read it twice to get my mind around what happened. I adore the last page to this book. The way SJM showed that Celeana was Aelin was phenomenal. Chaol searching the records until he comes to the realization.. beautiful.

The Yrene callback is one of my favorites. How much she treasured the note left by Celeana. It is precious and I adore it.
Your thought on Crown of Midnight when Celeana went a little dark made me think of the quote “You cannot pick and choose what parts of her to love.” which is one of my favorite quotes.
I need to stop. I keep thinking of more I want to talk about. Man! Am I going to reread Throne of Glass? 😅💚🦌

I loved the the throne of glass series n the way i read the series was throne of glass, crown of midnight, heir of fire , the assassins blade, queen of shadows, tower of dawn, empire of storms n then i read kingdom of ash thats how i read it and i wanna reread this series so i can Tandem read tower of dawn n empire of storms

yeah celaena kind of eludes to it in crown of midnight, since the king is the one controlling the magic banishment, it doesn’t work on dorian because he shares the king’s blood
