I love my emek. Printed my own body for it, colored pops slide with matching detents and bolt cap. The fact that I can design and print my own stuff for it is what made the decision for me. Your shocker, you could get in different colors sure but it's going to otherwise look like everyone else's shocker. My emek is truly 1 of a kind.

A fully built Emek is well over 500, and it will never be a full aluminum marker. Not fair bringing price into it when 1 is a plastic marker, and at most will only ever be half metal. Would be better to compare a M170r vs the CC AMP.
@@BB-pg5kl Emek has Aluminum inner sleeve. To be honest Id rather have the carbon reinforced polymer both playing in the classic events as any old player knows stuff is going to get scraped up and destroyed playing in the woods. Hyperball less to worry about same with mounds.

However that doesn't change the fact that you can't compare a full on metal marker to a GRN 1 based on cost. It's a shit comparison. Compare how they shoot and perform, not price.
I haven't tried the Infamous. But I did pick up a Fang, an Emach, and a PBG trigger and I have to say the Fang takes the win. I've heard good things about the Infamous, but the Fang is what Deadlywind recommends with the hAir 45. So I went with that. Thing rips!
I use cockers for the most part in the ICPL but when the paint isn’t super consistent my go to is my moded Gog Enmy. It’s super underrated. I’ve done trigger jobs to a few and 10 bps is easy to achieve without fanning

I have 2 emeks and a shocker amp Emek #1 freak xl barrel, red infamous trigger to match insert, pops asa, gold pbg customs back cap to match hk dragon tank cover, might get the DW valve and upgrade pals hopper to a spire 🤷♂️ Emek #2 freak xl barrel, pops asa, purple infamous trigger, gold barrel back, pals hopper Shocker AMP with white grips and white hk skull tank cover, red infamous deuce trigger, red ssc soft tip bolt, all black xl insert kit. AMP was a XLS and CVO trade with punishers thanks guys
A nice CP 1 piece barrel is affordable and will quiet it down and provide a bit more accuracy. Other than that a full barrel kit with different bored backs or inserts is what I would recommend. I've got the HK LAZR on my emek in all dust black and I got the HK XV in polished black for my son's Emek. His doesn't have as many bore sizes but shoots just as good for 70 bucks less. There are a lot of options under 100 bucks like the CP I mentioned above.
I have a cvo rsx on the way and another rsx, lv1, axe 2.0, and now I think the next thing is gonna be one of the spool valve pe markers. I like the emek but I also like the m170r, might end up with both lol

An actual metal marker vs a GRN one. No wonder there is a price difference. Also, a fully upped Emek is not 3x less than an AMP.

How do you tune an emek? Set up the trigger? Legit nothing to tune after you swap for hair45???

Yes! I'm surprised you havent replaced the stock barrel. that's the first thing I tell people to upgrade. EMEK is a great marker.
Yes. A better barrel is probably the best thing you can do for the Emek, and it should be done before anything else IMO.
Definitely replace the stock barrel - barrel kits allow you to bore your paint!

Put a deuce trigger by super stanchy customs on the emek and it's game over for the Shocker.
