This guy is a legend, by far the best tactics and complete understanding of how to best use the game mechanics. This one yesterday looked impossible to beat, today after this tutorial, took 2 attempts and its done. Thank you!
I guess I’m just not meant to play solo games this whole each boss gets two stages is just getting frustrating, your first step on taking him out works great but I’m not dealing as much damage as you are in the video and pluse my heavy attack when using it not even doing damage, it’s just barely moving down an when I charge up he moves I swear I’ve been fighting him for 5 days this game is hard like I don’t get how so many of yeah like oh I beat him oh I did this to him it’s just absolutely baffling to me.
I'm on my third play through, and this is the second time I've fought him. When I say that I have an easier time with the great sage and the Stone monkey.... I mean it. Like Holy. I can perfect dodge like 90 percent of his attacks but I never can hit him with anything.
I was stuck at Duskveil and hundred eye daoist, the last two bosses of chapter four , through your guide I managed to defeat Duskveil and this guide also almost works the same for Hundred eye Daoist too , I feel I will take him down in 2 or 3 tries
I'm at 6th chapter, but will gladly watch your strat on this one 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 BTW, guys remember to finish Daoist Me quest before killing this monstrosity. I didn't and missed the opportunity...
Was tough for me too in the beginning. You can use the staff spin to reflect the projectiles (also can build focus quickly) Once you get past the initial and secondary projectiles, he basically does the same attacks in phase one. Stay in between his legs, mixing in dodges for his telegraphed attacks.

Dude…Been following your guides and was stuck at Duskveil. Then I saw this video and this freeze method absolutely destroyed him on my first try 🙌 thank you
Thanks for the very unique strategy. I managed to take down Scorpion on second try but this asswipe has me stuck in Wukong Hell even though I can consistently do the first phase pretty easily with almost no mana or gourd used. Driving me crazy. Not fun. All the other "Easy" guides on him are anything but. Edit: In theory a good strategy but if anything gets out of phase at ALL and I do mean at ALL, particularly in phase 2, ur fekked.

I farmed at Rockrest Flat for some hours and I got a lot of mindcores and leveled up. That helped a lot.

Omg after about 15 attempts your strategy finally worked. My adrenaline was pumping. This boss sucked ass! That hit box was atrocious
By far, the most annoying boss thus far I've encountered. It was the Tiger Vanguard. Both of em will have you ready to quit the game. 😂😂😂

I struggle on second form I get boss to 75% health down but can’t finish him off
