Nice video! I have a new trailer and I installed the exact same Motorcycle Chock in the middle to haul one Harley Street glide. . I was debating E-Track options now and noticed your video and the D-Rings, My question is do you think the eye bolts at both ends of the Motorcycle Chock is enough to strap in a Harley? Thats what I did to get the new bike home from the dealer ( 100 miles and noticed zero shifting ) Was solid as a rock and I did bolt the chock into metal cross members / frame . I will be hauling the bike 900 miles soon and wonder if the motorcycle chock alone with straps to the included eye bolts is enough. I strapped the lower forks with rated Harley straps. What y'all think?
When you install the backing plates, do you place the thicker/longer side of the plate opposite the direction that the load will pull against once tied down? Great video, getting ready to set up a motorcycle trailer I just bought.
My rings bolt to steel underneath, i wouldn't bolt to just wood, why not bolt through wheres theres steel? Or you could've welded some in. You said very very strong" i disagree or maybe i missed something but the rings look bolted to just wood
Why not just use the eyebolts on the wheel chock to strap down the bike? The recessed D rings were a waste of time and money. Also a good idea when putting in recessed d-rings is to use some silicone to under the top plate to seal out water etc.

Use that mark to determine position of second stand. Before any drilling look underneath to make sure trailer frame won’t interfere. Measure twice - drill once
Well, I'm using the same wheel chocks for my motorcycles and they already come with tie down eyelets attached , so putting in recessed d-rings is NOT needed.

Great Video. Do you recall the dimensións of the Trailer. I have a 6x12 Vnose I have to haul 2 softail Harleys to California from Colorado.

Dont forget to put silicone on the bottom plate to prevent the plywood from rotting.

I have a. 2009 HD Tri-Glide and I have to install a Vevor front wheel chock and D rings in a 7x14 I closed trailer any suggestions?

how did you figure the stager dimension of the 2 bikes

Um, yeah they are.
The eyelets are on front of stand. You should still tie down the rear as well. Go to Bike Week and you will see how the pros do it
