I think a lot of people forget the fact that Danny and Denis have two DIFFERENT vocals and personalities. The band was something else with Danny and now it's something new with Denis. They're both great vocalists and if you are a true AA fan, you should respect Danny's memories in the band, and now be supportive of Denis.

My sophmore year of highschool I saw him live. It was definitely an amazing concert I will never forget. His vocals were the same even live. Even though things did not turn out for the best, I am thankful for the songs he is in.

couldn't agree more man. denis was perfect for them. he saved this band from their downfall. i don't believe a word from ben's mouth tbh, denis was LOVING his time in asking(look at the footage from the last tour they did with denis and all the pics). no way did he just stop speaking to them for two months. i have the guy who filled in for ben on snapchat, and about 2 weeks(roughly) before ben posted the livestream announcing denis' departure on this dudes snapchat was; denis, sam and james. denis was probably having a really hard time hence why his posts went very cryptic. around the same time his posts went very "tumblr af", ben and danny become two peas in a pod again. coincidence? i think not. imo, i think they removed denis for danny's return. though there's probably more to it.

There’s no denying that this is one of AA’s best songs ever. Danny’s back but Denis went hard on this track in specific as well as Let It Sleep and Sometimes It Ends. I love me some Danny but with the self titled recent release, I feel like Danny’s voice fits We Are Harlot more now, and Denis is a perfect fit for AA. If we had 2009 or 2011 Danny’s voice then sure, that’s definitely AA. I’m definitely not complaining either, Danny and Denis are both easily in my top 5 vocalists, just giving ideas.
Revisiting this banger, I really loved this era of AA. Saw them at Warped in 2015 and this album was in constant rotation when it came out. It’s kind of in a weird black sheep position these days but they were absolutely firing on all cylinders with that album.
The AA era is like a romantic relationship. You end up with someone who was no longer interested (Danny's departure) You find a new person who gives you everything you deserved and you envision a great future with many new things, managing to start from scratch (arrival of Denis) Then you go back to your ex 🤦🏻♂️ (Danny returns) and the relationship stagnates again MissU Denis

I feel like denis' cleans and screams are similar enough to Danny's to fit in the style of the bandages but unique enough not to be a carbon copy. I think he was the perfect replacement

couldn't agree more man. denis was perfect for them. he saved this band from their downfall. i don't believe a word from ben's mouth tbh, denis was LOVING his time in asking(look at the footage from the last tour they did with denis and all the pics). no way did he just stop speaking to them for two months. i have the guy who filled in for ben on snapchat, and about 2 weeks(roughly) before ben posted the livestream announcing denis' departure on this dudes snapchat was; denis, sam and james. denis was probably having a really hard time hence why his posts went very cryptic. around the same time his posts went very "tumblr af", ben and danny become two peas in a pod again. coincidence? i think not. imo, i think they removed denis for danny's return. though there's probably more to it.
Sam Fairclough I was thinking the same thing, it was too ironic to be a coincidence, for all we know denis felt like he was being replaced and left or felt like he was forced to leave. I was super excited to buy tickets to see them live and when I saw Danny back I said fuck this.

There’s no denying that this is one of AA’s best songs ever. Danny’s back but Denis went hard on this track in specific as well as Let It Sleep and Sometimes It Ends. I love me some Danny but with the self titled recent release, I feel like Danny’s voice fits We Are Harlot more now, and Denis is a perfect fit for AA. If we had 2009 or 2011 Danny’s voice then sure, that’s definitely AA. I’m definitely not complaining either, Danny and Denis are both easily in my top 5 vocalists, just giving ideas.

Revisiting this banger, I really loved this era of AA. Saw them at Warped in 2015 and this album was in constant rotation when it came out. It’s kind of in a weird black sheep position these days but they were absolutely firing on all cylinders with that album.
