does anyone else realize the "story progressing" in Simple Plan's newer music? their old music is always about the people and situations who were bringing them down, and how they were never going to be happy. Their newer songs are still about those things, but singing about them AFTER they had passed through those bad times. Think about it. In "Where I Belong" they sing about finally being where they belong as in a way to say "screw my old life now i am where I belong". In the Antidote, they sing about having someone to love and who cares about them as opposed to how they used to just sing about how no one is there for them. This song, "ruin my life" seems to be directed towards the same bad people/situations that they used to sing about, but instead of complaining about it they are now saying "i finally got away from you! after all these years im happy, and you DIDNT ruin my life!"

It's always interesting to me when I see bands I used to listen to (and saw live) when I was a teen releasing music while I'm in my 30s. It's awesome that you guys still have the same sound. In another story, the previous bass player for Simple Plan at a concert in Halifax backwashed into a water bottle and yeeted it into the crowd, where the water landed in my left eye. I got a pretty bad eye infection and now have to wear glasses because of my vision in my left eye. TL;DR Simple Plan is the reason why I have to wear glasses.

Es música como rock, dónde los productores son los del talento y no los músicos, pero algunas personas cogen obsesión con tomar bandos.

It's always interesting to me when I see bands I used to listen to (and saw live) when I was a teen releasing music while I'm in my 30s. It's awesome that you guys still have the same sound.
In another story, the previous bass player for Simple Plan at a concert in Halifax backwashed into a water bottle and yeeted it into the crowd, where the water landed in my left eye. I got a pretty bad eye infection and now have to wear glasses because of my vision in my left eye.
TL;DR Simple Plan is the reason why I have to wear glasses.
