Good question. I don't think you can mount it horizontally as I don't believe the motors in the device will cope with moving the device up and down as they were not designed that way. It may be possible, but have not tried it I am afraid.
According to the instructions you can ceiling mount using the same bracket static.tp-link.com/upload/manual/2023/202303/20230320/7106509987_VIGI%20C540V(UN)1.0_QIG_V1.pdf
Good question. If the SWANN NVR supports ONVIF then the TP-Link cameras should work with it (you may not get all the features) but they will record to it.
Does it work with POE only and not 12V?
I believe this can be powered by 12v as well according to the specs
12V DC ± 5%, Max. 14 W, 5.5mm Coaxial Power Plug
PoE: 802.3at, class 4, Max. 16 W
Hi, it is possible mount it on roof (horizontal) or only to wall (vertikal). On video it looks only on vertikall wall. Thx.

Will it work on my dahua nvr?
The camera supports ONVIF so yes it should work if the Dahua NVR supports ONVIF, but you may not be able to use all the features.
