+kaela fisher I think she means the Ingrid who did more makeup tutorials and fashion videos. I really do miss these types where she showed us skincare, makeup, and fashion too. Her videos are still great but not as girly I guess if you know what I mean. Ingrid's more of a minimalist now with fashion and makeup.

I agree with you, I'm SO happy with who she is now but I miss the way things used to be
I have noticed that ingrid and michelle phan and promise phan used 3 same product on there recent videos , 1st the pixie eyeshadow , the tarte mascara then the nyx lip butter ! Are they sponsored or sumthing ? Am I the only one who noticed that ?
I think it was in this month's ipsy glambag and thats why they both have it (along with many others) :3
they were products that were most likely sent out to them by companies to review. If you read the bottom of her description, it has a little disclaimer about gifts and products sent by companies are marked with a * in the list of products mentioned.
they only make videos these days if they're sponsored by ipsy so they can make more money. nothing is real anymore
They are from this month's ipsy bag, if you look through Ingrid's videos you can see once a month there is usually a get ready with me video of some sort, always including ipsy products. Part of me minds that there is so much of this sponsored content and I know they are not products they use on a regular basis as they just received them a few days before much like i did in my ipsy bag, but at the same time the videos do give me inspiration on how to use the products.

I never complain about these things, but I feel like i haven't seen a "get ready with me" or makeup idea looks that aren't really pushing Ipsy products. I know she's affiliated and I get that everyone needs to make a paycheck, but I feel like I can't trust the advice given anymore, especially since i HAVE Ipsy and I know not all the products are as "incredible" as described. Mixed feelings all around. I just want to feel like I want watch the video and not a commercial, even though the looks are still pretty and Ingrid is still charming.

I used to really love Ingrid's videos, but now she mostly uses products that are really really expensive so her videos aren't useful to me anymore. I can't take her advice because I can't afford anything she uses. I mean, I still love her, it just sucks for people like me who can't spend lots of money on makeup.
use cheaper alternatives then? you can recreate the looks without using the exact products! you cant blame her for using high end makeup as she can afford it so why would she waste her time on stuff that she wont like as much and shes really into makeup

Love your makeup! I appreciate that you didn't go crazy with glitter and impossible makeup like most beauty guru's do during this time of year; not all of us are makeup experts and sometimes it is hard to recreate a look that is posted on youtube especially when you are a beginner or don't have much time to get ready; love your videos!

This video somehow reminds me of Ingrid's old videos, where she acted more natural and more relax. I'm glad that she finally tones down the 'look at me I'm weird and cute' attitudes which most of the time felt like it was forced and not natural :)
