@fredmyers91 It's the sound of the double bass, as in upright bass. It makes a clicking sort of noise when the strings slap against the frets.

I'll have to be honest to say that I was a little worried when I heard Nekromantix got a female drummer, you know, after 20 years of changing members constantly but only with male members one kinda expect it to stay that way.
I've been looking forward to a new album release for a looong time, but didn't want to get too high hopes.
After watching your cover-videos and listening to "bats in my pants" I no longer doubt that you fit perfectly! You are proffesional and your performance is so cool!

I am loving these absolutely hot, awesome female drummers.
Actually that click you guys are hearing is not doublebass....it's the standup bass that the singer plays. She's playing this absolutely correctly! And there are small snippets of doublebass throughout on each chorus...the rest of the song is punky on drums.

Sounds like a Dave Lombardo style double kick drum but it is in actual fact Kim on the bass. If she was to play double bass drum rolls all the time it would interrupt his bass and cloud the sound I would have thought. What you're hearing is him playing fast notes with a slap inbetween each one which makes it sound like a double kick drum roll almost.
