I was stationed down in Pensacola for training when Hurricane Katrina came through. I’ll never forget how terrifying those winds sounded. 😳😰 And we had to survive it in a hotel.
Im very happy to see everything ok with your home. Glad everyone is ok! What a storm, so scary!!! My aunt is a snowbird in Largo Florida and she lost her entire roof 😢
Oh NO! I'm so sorry - that's crazy!!! The coast definitely got hit hard. That's crazy she's in Largo. That means she's almost exactly due West of us! We're just separated by the bay.
These hurricanes when you live near the coast don't get any easier but I'd rather avoid a hurricane than having a snowstorm every week glad you guys made it out well
Being on the coast definitely makes it tougher! I think every place has its own variety of natural disasters, so like you said... you just have to pick your poison! At least with hurricanes we get a lot of warning!
enduring charley's path toughened us up in ways i'm still not sure i'm grateful for? 😅(i am, i am!) milton looked soo scary for your region; so glad you're on the other side of it now.
My in-laws are in Winter Haven and they got hit pretty hard. Lost power and a tree branch through their window. I also have cousins in Miami and they didnt lose power but have a lot of trees down. Im glad everyone's okay and im very interested in seeing all these hurricane vlogs. Im in CT so we dont get many hurricanes. Last one was in 2012. I think it was only a cat 1 or 2.
So glad that everyone in your circle made it out without major damage. Prayers to everyone on the coast that was impacted 🙏
Thank you, Bonny! It was a stressful week!
I’m glad to hear everything was okay back at your house.
29:50 what a beautiful sunset!!

I’m glad you guys are safe and didn’t have any damage! Hope you can enjoy the rest of spooky season
Thank you!! It was a scary week for sure - I prefer my spooks at HHN!
I’m so glad you guys are ok!
Me too! It was a scary week!!!
Glad you are all okay x
Me too!!!
Glad your home didn’t have any damage and everyone stayed safe. I have family in St. Pete and I was stressing. 😢
Oh man! Did they do okay? I know St. Pete got a lot of storm surge!

That has to be the smoothest merge onto i4 heading to the airport ever! 😅(as you said)
RIGHT? Tampa residents get it. I was floored!

That is SO true! It's definitely not an experience I ever wish to repeat!

Oh no! So sorry about your in-laws! And yeah, the east coast got hit hard by tornados that day - it was crazy!
