- Ok, finally got some flight time in. Did some maiden horizon flights at home to avoid any mishaps, then took it out to the park for some rippage.
Heavy winds at the park, but this little fella took them on.
First Impressions out of the box:
1. Adjustable camera, it is nice, the canopy is slick.
2. It is light, very light. I'll need to weight it against the 75 pro.
3. The frame is quite sturdy, the part where it holds the FC board are quite long, I imagined it was designed for a multi-board stack. Will add some photos when I get home.
4. 2xPH2.0 soldered on, not sure if there's a need to swap out for xt30, the pads are quite small. If I was to swap, the battery tray will definitely need to be modified.
5. Battery tray on its own can hold a 1s BetaFPV 650mah battery, however the 3d printed square ring limits that so only the small 300mah or below batteries can fit in. (The only thing here is that the battery tray that's on the frame is way too short, making bigger batteries rubbing on the sections that hold the ducts... hard to explain, but will try to take some photos)
6. Props are 1mm shaft, 40mm diameter, so can use the same BetaFPV ones or go to Banggood and get the 5 set ones www.banggood.c....
7. There is a Buzzer under the hood.
Betaflight Config:
1. I've only changed the Rates in the pids and the gyro and pid loop frequency.
2. Gryo was at 8Hz and PID loop was at 1Hz, I changed Gyro to 4Hz and Pid loop to 2Hz. CPU hits about 40%-45%. I'm still way too new to Betaflight configs and I'm not sure what's the recommended, usually I try to keep it below 30% CPU.
3. Changed the display for OSD, just added my usuals. I did notice the warning doesn't show up when the battery hits a certain voltage. I'll need to check again.
Flight:
1. This thing is quiet! For those that have the Beta65X, when you arm the motors... well it's almost at that sound. I guess the motors are similar sizes.
2. Does it run hot? I haven't checked. lol
3. This thing is fast, given the light weight, it is very agile.
4. Turtle mode... whatever, it should be renamed to Ninja Turtle Mode, this thing doesn't just flip, it does a friggin roll/summersault, I believe it's due to the light weight. So be gentle on the sticks.
5. The buzzer is loud, almost annoying..

Great job mate! Awesome flying ! Mine is due to come in one week..I am a newbie, so my initial camera angle will be quite low, but this sure looks fun =D
Durshil Mungra thanks, you will love it. Great to practice, I’ve started flying not too long ago. Just in the past week I started acro.
Good thing is you can adjust the camera angle. :-)

Hey man.. I'm looking for this to start up.. Do you think is a good idea?! I have a Taranis QX7 and i was thinking on a brushless woop to start the hobby.. To make some indoor flight as well =)
Thiago Dias Amato this can go both 1s and 2s. 1s will obviously be less powerful so great indoors and when the weather is nice put on the 2s and rip it outside.
This is the flight I'm looking for, nice. Could be better if they put a F4 board, so we could up to 8k/8k. 40% is way too high. Don't know about whoops, but my F3 I can use 4k/4k with 30%, but now accel. (no stab mode, wich is hard for a indoor whoop).
Please tell if you could use a 2S battery.
I believe they are currently working on a F4 board. :-)

Of is the stock it's no good battery.
For me when I have put in xt30 is better for 2S 450mAh GNB battery. 😉
Using the BetaFPV 300mah. Yes, the XT30 will definitely remove the battery sag.
Yes, with the XT30 and battery GNB 2S 450mAh a good flight I think. 😉
Why then happymodel did not use that connector in the first place??? Is it easy to change? Thank you.
