It looks like the consensus is that the Bosch laser tape measure is the one to get. I've watched a few other RUclips videos who have reviewed the same and basically it's a thumbs up. Thank you for your review! 👍🏽
I bought it a few hours ago. I need it for accurate room measurements to spec flooring. When you measure a wall, you will need to curl the tape measure on one end and you can estimate pretty close. Then I measured with this laser at the exact point. It read exactly the same. Next, if you measure an exact known distance, where you don't have to estimate, it reads exactly the distance, and that is when rounding is set to the nearest 1/16". It can measure better than i can with a tape measure and a lot faster. It measures from the back of the device. The device has flat sides that can help to align itself parallel to one wall and the laser dot pretty close to the same height on the opposite wall. If you make certain the laser dot on the other end is the same height on the opposite wall, and parallel along the wall you are measuring, it will be more accurate than you will be with a tape measure. This little thing is hard to believe. Yes, there are features and formulas it doesn't have. However, it's ~$40.00 and more accurate than the more expensive models. I can calculate square feet on the calculator.

Yeah, it really is simple and works great!
Thank you. The Amazon batteries corroded. I had to disassemble it to clean inside. Your video was exactly what I needed.
Sorry to hear about the batteries. Glad the video helped!
So does it measure from the mack of the laser forard
Yes
From the back.
Hold down the increment button and you can change the display for different measurements.

Very good summary. I agree completely!
Can you get the measurements in inches?
Yes, there are multiple different ways to display the measurements.
Thanks for the video.
Can it be changed to metric?
Yes you can. Hold down the measurement button and you can select different units.
@@dh4880 Thanks
Thanks so much. Just what I was looking for
Glad I could help!
You are genius ❤
Love it ❤
This is close to perfect. The only disadvantage I find is that to substitute the tape measure it's missing a belt clip.
Yes! I agree, a belt clip would be great!
Mic working to good
I’m glad you enjoyed the video!
