What spec do you guys think will be best for levelling in the open world? Should be something efficient for grinding mobs and decent in PVP as well, is balance the way?
Spec will be 0/26/5. LOTP will not give nearly as much dps for the raid as furor will. Furor is ~30% of a feral's dps. You'd only take LOTP if you're tanking, or a non-power shifting cat (LOL)
yea probably true, but you also get 4/5 in HOTW which will buff your dps through strenght value. and lotp buffs your entire melee group. i think it will be preference buf we'll see! also no wolfshead helm since profs capped at 225?
You need 5/5 furor man lmao... HOTW is not value enough. PVP especially, shifting slows/roots and going into bear and having 0 energy or 0 rage is absolutely gg. Also in PVE i know the nerds love to power shift so thats a must. Also blood frenzy is huge and needs 2/2 for more 5 point bites
I highly doubt most feral dps players will go Leader of the Pack. probably a split spec for Omen and Powershifting. What if Starsurge benefits from Eclipse? that would be bonkers
They definitely won’t be grabbing both omen and furor at this level cap. They’ll not have enough points for things like Feral Farie Fire, blood frenzy for cat, primal fury, or even predatory strikes/Imp shred. If there is no wolf’s head helm equivalent this phase I think some ferals will drop talents into resto and balance tree. I’ll stick with my 5/5 furor tho

In feral you're sleeping on Blood Frenzy. As far as eclipse goes, where it notates starfire, it also effects Starsurge.

it will be preference, but in group pvp hotw and lotp will have immense value. solo pvp furor will certainly be better

it is certainly viable for pve! but furor will be more dps for you if you just care about meters
