I haven’t done the Pablo Escobar tour which I believe takes you to his former prison, grave etc. By chance, I visited “La Catedral” which was his former prison, because it was on a hiking route I did for my “The Magic of Medellín” video which I filmed last year. As with all tours, compare the prices to get the best deal. You should consider visiting Guatapé and La Piedra del Peñol, that’s an awesome day tour. I also made a video about that. I’m not trying to sell you my videos hahaha but you can see what the whole tour includes in my video. There are some great walking tours of the downtown area which I would recommend; you’ll see a lot of the city and learn much about it. They are free but you should pay the tour guide a tip at the end. Just google: Free Walking Tours Medellín. 😀
