Dont get me wrong, i love the fact that we will be able to attune exotic class items and that xur will sell them, its just that NONE of this would have been an issue if they just implemented dupe protection from the very beginning. That is a far simpler system to make no matter how you look at it.
@julioforessi1336 TDT offered suggestions of having more sources to play to get them like Excision. But Bungie said nah They dont even want players to play what they want. They just nerf chest drops and buff overthrow drops, except it's not really buffed, then they ban macro and update ToS. Absolute clown world bungie is in
How would dupe protection even work for a game like destiny though? The game doesn't even remember which vault page you were on after opening a menu let alone random rolls
@@julioforessi1336 the point is to give us a way to get rolls without making it so easy like with dupe protection. Attunement isn't dupe protection but at least you still have to actually grind to get the rolls. I think some destiny players have forgotten what a shooter looter is
Izi has been THE sniper of all time for forever, the moment still hunt was proven to be gas and we got artifact perks to boost solar snipers it was gonna slowly start getting crept. Still good as hell but not the only option. Snipers as a whole need a bit more than just artifact mods imo but some are usable and fun

@@TheZombie462 yeah they don't shatter crystals on impact, furthermore the dive attack doesn't do a damn thing- doesn't freeze, doesn't shatter. cant throw nades while holding one (probably not a bug but still silly). itd be cool if, when they fix it in 3 years, the lancecap just does the shatter immediately on impact rather than creating a crystal. crystals dont serve much purpose on their own with Chains gone.
The special ammo meter is ass. Losing to a team that has unlimited green because they won the first 2 rounds while you have no chance to fight back feels terrible.
@@Sfirezx actually I do better without special being so common but it's boring, of course at one time I was only in the top .8 percent of rumble players in the world and I play cod and Titanfall 2 now for pvp cause destiny's is trash and slow and boring but not everyone is good like me people have a hard time fighting people who are already better than them and then get more access to special weapons that they are already better with than the other guy and it just keeps getting worse. How about you actually think for 10 seconds?
If you do dual destiny 2 times a day until they release this change you will probably have the roles you are looking for. This change is getting everyone hyped but I think they fail to realize that it is going to take 48 days to release and nobody will need it at all if they are consistently chasing the roles they want.

Yeah attuement is cool and all but they need to do something about the fact that we need to keep 64 on each character unless we wanna have to farm potential rolls again in the future. Almost 30% of vault space shouldn't be taken up by class items cause farming them is ass. They need to give us selectable perks option like the Aeons exotics or just let us craft it.
If only there was a way to dismantle the rolls you don't want, at any time. Like if they could implement a hover over menu item just for the Class Item Crybabies or something. Maybe even give you back some combination of XP, Glimmer, and Enhancement Cores for discarding an item that clearly brings tears to your cheeks for being sooooo unusable. Pipe dream, I guess. 😢

Agreed the attunement is a start however why dont they just spend the time to just fix it all together. I like the idea of going aeons style and you unlock the perks as you get them. Saves on vault space and still a hell of a grind but it would make it easier and worth it. 60 combinations ain’t worth it when 56 of them are horrible let alone the duplicates.
The whole attunement thing is kind of ridiculous the simplest way was to just make it focusable at rahool🤦🏾🤦🏾 just make it cost exotic ingrams which almost have no use in the game right now especially to people that have been playing for more than 2 years.
It’s not you get to attune the roll that you want if they put it at rahool your getting a random roll instead of the attunement perk that you want attunement is way better than focusing exotic
The whole point is they want to keep the feel of getting the exotic class items intact. Asking to get the exact one you want every time is what we had in year 1 and everyone hated it, rng sucks but atleast you have something to play for.
You're mixing up attunement and focusing. Attunement is the free system they introduced with the Onslaught weapons that skews drops towards your selection. So drops might have a 3/5 chance to have your desired perk instead of 1/8.
Havent played yet, did they also fix gravatons damage? It was hitting for 26xx&36xx respectively. Now its hitting for 25xx&36xx so we lost 100 damage. I dont know why but it happened.
Because exotics don't do extra damage to red bars anymore, but all weapon frames got a general buff, so legendary primaries do about as much as exotic primaries used to do and they are all in line with each other
@Xynic.7391 this 100 damage nerf is from a weekish ago when they messed up gravatons fire rate. Has nothing to do with the season changes from months ago.

Same. I refuse to rock an exotic class item on my Hunter because the cloak is a big part of a Hunter's look, and it messes up my fashion. I wear the Warlock one though since bonds are kinda not noticeable anyway.
I got excited for the Solstice ornament patch, but as a Warlock it was short lived. I think I'll still get the glows knowing they're working on it. I like the non-glow so much more.

Honestly I miss the way this game used to be I used to enjoy waking up and loading into some d2 have for all its life and since d1 but now I feel like there is so much wrong at bungie and now it has finally spilled over to much and is suffering destiny and its player base I want this game to come back but this time they have fucked with to much honesty Warframe is a great place for players looking for great lover fast and addictive gameplay and a grind that acc maters no matter what your doing your always working on something that helps you out in the long run very worth a shot
FINALLY Salvations Edge Adept are fixed! Had this issue since week 4 when i crafted everything from the raid, all my adepts (30+) only had 2 perks in the right most.,
I like the change for the exotic class item. Just wish that the game would remember your rolls. So if I would delete one you would be able to pull the same one from collection again. Since the class items and ergo sums are taking up all of the 100 extra vault space we got at the beginning of final shape. You could delete a few but what if it becomes meta?😭

It would make sense that all the people working on those games were let go and the D2 and marathon teams were kept in tact. Sony bought bungie for literal billions. The ammo meter system is just for gatekeepers to have even more of an advantage. This game is so old that if you weren’t playing PvP at the right time and never stopped since, you’re never gonna be able to compete. Now you get even more ran over by that one guy with 8 shotgun shots in the pocket
I honestly feel that episode 2 is gunna “feel” better cause you only have the act to act timegate but that leaves it up to us the players to determine if we burn through everything in a week and complain or if we feel we can be kept busy till the next act drop but I’m sure by episode 3 they will have “perfected” the formula till everyone gets bored of that in Weeks/months who honestly knows at this point.
It's funny how much trouble they have with just special ammo in pvp. Until they get a full on fix of it, they won't ever update certain weapons reserves.
Exotic class items are just a grind to get. I've played Dual Destiny more than 25 times (including when it had the double loot glitch) and haven't gotten a single roll of what I need.
Should've been 1 in each column so you'd have a higher chance at getting the exact roll you want Just like with weapon attuning during into the light you aren't guaranteed shit so this is a half assed fix Perfect for Bungie I guess
I afk farmed for 250+ hrs and had over 100 rolls for my warlock before I got my inmost/star eater roll. They should’ve had this selector day one and never touched rates on anything. Ppl seem to miss the fact that 2% drop rate X the amount of rolls (1/64) is abysmal at best
Changing trials special away from the meter was the dumbest decision ever, played 3 games this weekend and before that hadn't played trials since July 2nd and didn't realize going in that they made that change and it was just constant forerunner. If the only reason they changed it was technical issues and it's not back soon I might not bother gilding this season
As similar who has played through every type of meta in trials from the og double primaries to the “green bricks raining from heaven” I personally feel like the worse meta is 100% the primary meta. The aspect of someone being able to sit far back and pick up easy kills cause their pulse has 30+ rounds is mentally exhausting. Cross is right the meter system was definitely the better system so hopefully it returns.
They don't need to fix the special ammo economy, they just need a rework to shotguns in pvp, that's literally it, they've shown through every single test that shotguns are the problem not the ammo
Meter system just further punishes players that are still learning and improving imo. I think being very new player unfriendly was one of Destiny's biggest problems and while it is likely too late now, it wouldn't hurt to lean into that more and at least try to retain players.
Atp I think I’d sooner jsut, stack up a couple weeks of Xûr boosters, and farm GMs to buy copies of class items over waiting for this attunement system. The mission is cool, but just isn’t all that fun to play. And with bad luck and as many runs as I’ve done, idk. I don’t even really want EVERY roll, I just want the ones I want for builds and the good ones. So just being able to farm coins while I farm golf balls, cyphers, exotics, and adepts, then to turn around and just buy a few class items and repeat that process? Seems a bit more straight forward than “select a perk you MIGHT get out of the 64 combos you have available”
I have a Vice build on my hunter that’s pure stasis and with the new stasis fragments I can run around at max frost armour of 8 and shatterdive all the glacier grenades

What's with the random bugs just affecting Warlocks lately? lol Before, there was this bug that was giving more XP to Titan and Hunters, Warlocks being unaffected, receiving less exp. Now they fix the glows but it didn't work for Warlocks specifically.

With the rarity that class items still have I‘m not sure how i feel about the attunement. It is definetly a step in the right direction but onslaught attunement has also done absolutely nothing for me. Even with attunement i needed 20 edge transit drops to get a single one with envious (which is still not a god roll bc of the other perks) and that is just not enough for me. I do not have the time to farm 20 hours for class items to get the one exact role i would need to take a build from good to exceptional. Destiny is once again starting to feel like a chore which is the reason I quit a few years ago.
I dont know that I agree that the meter system is better. Imo the old way of just loading in with special an no crates always felt most fair to me. Imo special weapons were more to give bad players a way to keep up in low sbmm environments. Like often as a bad player I would just try to use my special to get 1 kill before I die. Like that was my starting goal and when people cant get ez special kills it really shows when there is no sbmm imo which in turn makes all the casuals quit. Like it feels as if this balance is ment for good players but imo special weapons were always ment to be a crutch for bad players to keep up in games above there head. Another thing is this promotes a rich get richer environment and is kind of counter to sbmm in general. Its like a cod lobby where the 1 dood ahead of everyone gets to drop bombs from a plane to get even more kills. The whole rich get richer mentality I think is totally counter to what sbmm tried to do, which mostly is provide a space for noobs to learn and not get stomped out of the game. 2:22 I kind of wish they would give you to option to turn the glow off then its almost like we got 3 variations of the set instead of 2 or transmog unlock the unglow version but I suppose they never let you do that. 4:39 Honestly I feel like it should have launched like this and at this point it should just be craftable. The idea of this being a chase item I dont even like. Imo it feels bad for 2 reasons. 1st you cant even unlock it as a solo player unless you play with someone you don't know for hours through actual challenging content. The mission should be earier or there should be an alternate longer solo path to unlock. 2nd really your just unlocking things you already have, you should be able to just craft with perks of legendarys you own and maybe you need a quest for the cross class ones. The idea of grinding class items has never been fun or cool maybe because there is no stat spread maybe because they all look the same but it feels like your just trying to grind a better version of what you already got rather then chase something new and compelling like a new seasonal exotic armor. Its like they really really want this to be the chase but the game with this AS a chase is just kind of not fun. Seeing you can focus it though gives me hope they are actually listening finally. 1 morrrrreeee thing. Just another reason this should be craftable is my vault is already jacked up to 700 and I aint even unlocked this yet. Where am I supposed to store all the class items for all the classes for all the possible builds I want. Where if you could craft it I wouldn't need to hold onto ones im not using right now. We already got issues on vault space and the 100 new slots already been used from the new expansion and season weapons..

I totally get attunement for onslaught weapons as there is a large loot pool, but doing attunement for specific exotic class perks is too much because now you will have people left and right having literal god rolls of class items while there were other people who grinded hours for a certain roll. I get the drops for exotic class items is terrible but in my opinion I like it when I have an item that is view "Hard get" and that I've grinded endless hours just to get. Just my opinion just like it when loot is harder to get because I am awarded when I put time in to grind. I get people have jobs and all, but I got a job too working 60 hours a week and I still find it fun grinding exotic class items for every perk its just fun to me. Shouldn't these rare items be locked behind a "grind wall"?

I got excited for the Solstice ornament patch, but as a Warlock it was short lived. I think I'll still get the glows knowing they're working on it. I like the non-glow so much more.
Spicy Chroma Rush got me jazzed up, really hoping we get that one back and upgrade-able with some new perks someday.

Cross has all the rolls because he macro farmed. And because of them pc players...the chest farming on the pale heart was nerfed.
I feel like we should be able to pick two perks to focus towards given its likely not going to be a 100% chance for it to drop the combo you want.

Honestly I miss the way this game used to be I used to enjoy waking up and loading into some d2 have for all its life and since d1 but now I feel like there is so much wrong at bungie and now it has finally spilled over to much and is suffering destiny and its player base I want this game to come back but this time they have fucked with to much honesty Warframe is a great place for players looking for great lover fast and addictive gameplay and a grind that acc maters no matter what your doing your always working on something that helps you out in the long run very worth a shot

FINALLY Salvations Edge Adept are fixed! Had this issue since week 4 when i crafted everything from the raid, all my adepts (30+) only had 2 perks in the right most.,
I like the change for the exotic class item. Just wish that the game would remember your rolls. So if I would delete one you would be able to pull the same one from collection again. Since the class items and ergo sums are taking up all of the 100 extra vault space we got at the beginning of final shape. You could delete a few but what if it becomes meta?😭

@@IzanamisBurdenthey had 5 games in development. They scrapped all of them other than D2 and marathon. It would make sense that all the people working on those games were let go and the D2 and marathon teams were kept in tact. Sony bought bungie for literal billions. They aren’t going to completely gut the team that oversees their most profitable product.
The ammo meter system is just for gatekeepers to have even more of an advantage. This game is so old that if you weren’t playing PvP at the right time and never stopped since, you’re never gonna be able to compete. Now you get even more ran over by that one guy with 8 shotgun shots in the pocket
Let me use exotic engrams for class items, so we can have a reason to farm lost sectors
My problem with special ammo has never been the amount, just the power/strength. For example shotgun fall off range, and overall damage.
This is literally the Trials special ammo economy from D1. Why is everyone think this is so weird
I honestly feel that episode 2 is gunna “feel” better cause you only have the act to act timegate but that leaves it up to us the players to determine if we burn through everything in a week and complain or if we feel we can be kept busy till the next act drop but I’m sure by episode 3 they will have “perfected” the formula till everyone gets bored of that in Weeks/months who honestly knows at this point.

Exotic class items are just a grind to get. I've played Dual Destiny more than 25 times (including when it had the double loot glitch) and haven't gotten a single roll of what I need.
Should've been 1 in each column so you'd have a higher chance at getting the exact roll you want
Just like with weapon attuning during into the light you aren't guaranteed shit so this is a half assed fix

I afk farmed for 250+ hrs and had over 100 rolls for my warlock before I got my inmost/star eater roll. They should’ve had this selector day one and never touched rates on anything. Ppl seem to miss the fact that 2% drop rate X the amount of rolls (1/64) is abysmal at best

Changing trials special away from the meter was the dumbest decision ever, played 3 games this weekend and before that hadn't played trials since July 2nd and didn't realize going in that they made that change and it was just constant forerunner. If the only reason they changed it was technical issues and it's not back soon I might not bother gilding this season
As similar who has played through every type of meta in trials from the og double primaries to the “green bricks raining from heaven” I personally feel like the worse meta is 100% the primary meta. The aspect of someone being able to sit far back and pick up easy kills cause their pulse has 30+ rounds is mentally exhausting. Cross is right the meter system was definitely the better system so hopefully it returns.

This is great because I don’t have not one class item I want for any of my characters, and I have at least two or three I want.
They don't need to fix the special ammo economy, they just need a rework to shotguns in pvp, that's literally it, they've shown through every single test that shotguns are the problem not the ammo
Meter system just further punishes players that are still learning and improving imo. I think being very new player unfriendly was one of Destiny's biggest problems and while it is likely too late now, it wouldn't hurt to lean into that more and at least try to retain players.
Just make the class item craftable. That attunement stuff is awful
Exotic class items should just be an item with 2 "spirit mod" slots. Unlock the mod and save vault space. It's ridiculous right now.

Atp I think I’d sooner jsut, stack up a couple weeks of Xûr boosters, and farm GMs to buy copies of class items over waiting for this attunement system. The mission is cool, but just isn’t all that fun to play. And with bad luck and as many runs as I’ve done, idk. I don’t even really want EVERY roll, I just want the ones I want for builds and the good ones. So just being able to farm coins while I farm golf balls, cyphers, exotics, and adepts, then to turn around and just buy a few class items and repeat that process? Seems a bit more straight forward than “select a perk you MIGHT get out of the 64 combos you have available”

The only real necessary aspects and fragments are Threaded Specter, Stasis Dodge.
Fragments for the health regen on melee kills and DR when surrounded. Everything else can be mixed and matched to your liking.
They need to just make the class item craftable, so I’m not dedicating 50 vault space to just class items, then having to masterwork everyone I use

Before, there was this bug that was giving more XP to Titan and Hunters, Warlocks being unaffected, receiving less exp. Now they fix the glows but it didn't work for Warlocks specifically.

The earning ammo for kills isn’t a good system. It’s just allows good players to roll bad players even harder.

With the rarity that class items still have I‘m not sure how i feel about the attunement. It is definetly a step in the right direction but onslaught attunement has also done absolutely nothing for me. Even with attunement i needed 20 edge transit drops to get a single one with envious (which is still not a god roll bc of the other perks) and that is just not enough for me. I do not have the time to farm 20 hours for class items to get the one exact role i would need to take a build from good to exceptional. Destiny is once again starting to feel like a chore which is the reason I quit a few years ago.

I dont know that I agree that the meter system is better. Imo the old way of just loading in with special an no crates always felt most fair to me.
Imo special weapons were more to give bad players a way to keep up in low sbmm environments. Like often as a bad player I would just try to use my special to get 1 kill before I die. Like that was my starting goal and when people cant get ez special kills it really shows when there is no sbmm imo which in turn makes all the casuals quit. Like it feels as if this balance is ment for good players but imo special weapons were always ment to be a crutch for bad players to keep up in games above there head. Another thing is this promotes a rich get richer environment and is kind of counter to sbmm in general. Its like a cod lobby where the 1 dood ahead of everyone gets to drop bombs from a plane to get even more kills. The whole rich get richer mentality I think is totally counter to what sbmm tried to do, which mostly is provide a space for noobs to learn and not get stomped out of the game.
2:22 I kind of wish they would give you to option to turn the glow off then its almost like we got 3 variations of the set instead of 2 or transmog unlock the unglow version but I suppose they never let you do that.
4:39 Honestly I feel like it should have launched like this and at this point it should just be craftable. The idea of this being a chase item I dont even like. Imo it feels bad for 2 reasons.
1st you cant even unlock it as a solo player unless you play with someone you don't know for hours through actual challenging content. The mission should be earier or there should be an alternate longer solo path to unlock.
2nd really your just unlocking things you already have, you should be able to just craft with perks of legendarys you own and maybe you need a quest for the cross class ones.
The idea of grinding class items has never been fun or cool maybe because there is no stat spread maybe because they all look the same but it feels like your just trying to grind a better version of what you already got rather then chase something new and compelling like a new seasonal exotic armor. Its like they really really want this to be the chase but the game with this AS a chase is just kind of not fun. Seeing you can focus it though gives me hope they are actually listening finally.
1 morrrrreeee thing. Just another reason this should be craftable is my vault is already jacked up to 700 and I aint even unlocked this yet. Where am I supposed to store all the class items for all the classes for all the possible builds I want. Where if you could craft it I wouldn't need to hold onto ones im not using right now. We already got issues on vault space and the 100 new slots already been used from the new expansion and season weapons..

I totally get attunement for onslaught weapons as there is a large loot pool, but doing attunement for specific exotic class perks is too much because now you will have people left and right having literal god rolls of class items while there were other people who grinded hours for a certain roll. I get the drops for exotic class items is terrible but in my opinion I like it when I have an item that is view "Hard get" and that I've grinded endless hours just to get. Just my opinion just like it when loot is harder to get because I am awarded when I put time in to grind. I get people have jobs and all, but I got a job too working 60 hours a week and I still find it fun grinding exotic class items for every perk its just fun to me. Shouldn't these rare items be locked behind a "grind wall"?
