That is a complicated question based primarily on the output of the pump and line size. The best way to find the information is to look up the specs on your particular pump. Keep in mind that even if your pump is rated for a specific GPM at a particular psi, you still have to account for your line sizing. This means you need to use a pipe flow chart to determine your max flow rating on the pipe. Example: if you had pump with a 1 inch discharge that was rated at 22 GPM at 60 psi, and your main supply line from the pump is a 1 inch sch 40 PVC you should not exceed 15 GPM as per the manufacturer’s recommended max flow of 5 feet per second on the PVC line.
Thank you for your question. I use Precip-Mate's software and a drawing program at the moment. I do not see the point in using a cad program for residential landscaping. Precip-Mate has plans to release their own layout program, I am excited to try it when it comes out. No idea when that will be though. I do believe it will be a map overlay, to simplify the process, if the location is clearly visible on google maps.
Excelent congratulations
any recommendations on gpm and psi calc when on a well with a 40 / 60 pressure switch?

Great presentation-what software you use to capture the presentation and uploaded to youtube?
Thanks, I just used the native programs on a Mac. I believe it was the screen shot tool.
What software program are you using for the grass , home, garage etc?
