Baby Apoc and QS were an amazing duo. I was really struggling before adding QS as my 6th. I guess I’m getting pretty good at budgeting gear pieces because they make it so hard. The planner is awesome.
Great point on Nick Fury invaders works well with him big and the rest of the team G14/15. Also I agree F2P will likely have to choose between Doom and Dormamu - until you know the impact this will have on the clear time on the nodes in DD7 you should not commit resource.
I've been quietly debating Moondragon as 5th for cosmic since i started DD6. Pleased that I'm not the only one leaning in that direction
Great video but one question. you said you might never have to take dormammu up to G18 but he is one of the few mythic characters we will have to take to G19. Sure you could pass him over and take Ultimus or Ultron but would you want to?
Exactly, you dont want Ultimus or Ultron to DD7. So Dormammu is great choice for DD6
There are several considerations.
We don't know how much time we have until DD7:
- By that time, we don't know how many valuable mystic and/or miasma characters will be add or reworked.
- By that time, we don't know if Ultimus or Ultron could get reworked and possibly be better choices.
- The announcement was very tentative. They may decide not to include it as a node requirement. Or they may change it to where one section is "Non-horseman Legendary" and the other is "Horseman or Mythic" where you want to bring Red Hulk or someone else next to Apoc.
Beyond this and even if nothing changes:
- We don't know what the node makeup is. They may have Black Cats, Cyclopses, other such characters that heavily discourage Dormammu.
- We DO know that Mephisto is mystic. Considering many people forewent upgrading the 3-mini Red Hulk because he shares his origin with Super Skrull; dropping 5 sets of Mystic on a character just for the last 2 nodes and risking not being able to upgrade Mephisto might not be a popular decision.
For all these reasons, my recommendation is to save gear and be ready to upgrade if needed. Taking Dormammu to a first run of DD6 is a very expensive choice. Theories and guesswork over a future game mode should not dictate how you decide for what is right in front of you.
@@beniwestside Thank you for your detailed response! It does give you a lot to think about. I see where you are coming from, the best solution is to just hold off and wait to see what dd7 looks like. My only concern is the new mythic tag is likely to be present in all future dark dimensions going foward, so do I want to leave dorm behind or take him forward. I can't see them crafting a mythic node that would make taking dorm useless. But who knows! Thanks again for your response, gives me a lot to consider.
Any notable updates on the list since December?
I brought in a 3r3y Zugg into DD6 and he did die a lot but I just couldn't use the extra g18 pieces on Cap Sam. When I finished my run I was able to g18 Skrull right away which I wouldn't have been able to do otherwise. Also I used my extra skill gear for Kingpin who was actually pretty good in DD and his summons allowed Vulture to get more turns
What if you don't have high stars on the ms. marvel (HL) or Kraven, Lizard.... Would go with someone you have more stars on or are they good enough at 4/5 ys/rs??
I want to take Apoc, weaver, nightcrawler, gambit and one other. I can probably start it soon but worried about taking Forge at just a low star level. Still worth it? I have QS at 6 star but at g16 and still need a bunch of materials for him.

I would say Nova is also skippable in favor of Fury bcs he is Osmium and Bio is very high demand currently with many good characters. His long CDs felt pretty bad in Apoc + Legendary and I always chose OR over him after he used his CDs once...
Don’t remember if you said so but would it be too expensive to take both eternals? I have them both at G16 and the only other mystic characters I would have would be Vahl and Weaver/QS.

What's your reasoning not to take dorm to dd6 cosmic section? He most likely be used for dd7 because of the new tag.
I’ve been struggling to figure out who to bring for my last 2 global. I have Apoc, Doom, and Gambit done. I really think I’m going to do Rescue and IW Iron Man since I have an abundance of gear. I’d love to do Weaver and Nightcrawler instead but that gear is so strapped. I have the gear for Cap and Peggy but I feel like their usefulness is falling off and would be a waste.
Kang, Vahl, and Kestra are ready for cosmic, I think void knight and photon is my best bet for that, should be here by the time I’m ready and done with global.
I'm on Day 5 Node 2 Cosmic and I'm getting one shot by the Binoic Avengers. I can only now kill 1-2 enemies a day. I have the core four with Ravanger Snitcher and I''m considering making Beta Ray Bill G18 just to get through this much faster.
I wouldn’t recommend Beta Ray at all. How is your ISO setup?

@@BlazeNarutoShippuden That should work, You may have to reset cooldowns one day. Cosmic felt like a breeze after Global to me.
@@beniwestside made a lot of progress today. should get through the second node in the next 1-2 attacks. I had to spend 1-2 days tanking attacks and saving cooldowns to get through the first wave of bionic avengers that were stacked up together. TY
I just 1 shot all 3 Cosmic nodes on my 2nd run, using Dormammu, Skrull, Vahl, Kang and Kestrel.
I highly recommend
who would you recommend for 1st time without skull!?

Void Knight might be a better option nowadays.

If I’m gonna swap out nemesis for nightcrawler, that’s 6r7s nemesis switchover for a 3r3s nightcrawler? I know he’s a new character but those stats are gonna be awful, no?

For City why wouldn't you take Mysterio along with craven vulture and lizard? Mysterios tactical applies ability block to the primary target and then blind to all other enemies if he has three or more superior six allies. That and the heel block on his ultimate and the meat shield of his summons. Wouldn't all those things combined make him a top-tier choice?
He’s worth 5 pieces, that’s a lot of tech

Mysterio is AMAZING, but he is too expensive, considering two of the best choices for legendary are also tech.
Yes Mysterio would be an amazing choice if you had unlimited resources, but we unfortunately do not. We mention him in the video how great he would be but you are going to want to take at least GGC to Legendary. If we could base it off only who would be the best choices it would be much different but we don't have unlimited resources to take anyone.
@@PathfinderGaming17 I mean that is fair. Idk I guess I am not one of those players who is willing to take mid characters just to get SS quickly. Id rather have an amazing team with the best in class characters and blow through each section with ease. And I know that's not everyone. But that's how I personally like to play DD
Lizard or spiderwoman? I only have lizard at 4 red 4 yellow and spiderwoman is 7 red and is pretty cheap
If you are a war fanatic like myself Spider Woman is awesome! but Lizard overall is better most likely.

Not quite. For DD3, it is also a good idea to include a few characters for the Apocalypse chase. Especially considering, in DD3, legendary isn’t separated and you can enter with 2 characters. You can do global with just Morgan and red hulk, cosmic with just kang/kestrel plus vahl, city with just ock and goblin.
Now we just need those trials to return so I can get 50 more shards.

Y'all don't even know how much of a hot take your global roster is. Quicksilver was the star of the show for me in global. Combine him with doctor doom and it's GG. My global team was apoc, gambit, quicksilver, doom, and iron heart mk 2. This combo worked so well and make global such a breeze.
I don't think its that much of a hot take, if people haven't entered Global yet QS is an expensive option to take 1st run
I’ve had QS in 3.5 of my 5 runs so far and I am not impressed. I don’t think he is worth the heavy investment for a first run especially. On subsequent runs maybe.
@@PathfinderGaming17 he is expensive for sure but a school of thought is that it is better to have expensive "great characters" versus cheap characters
@@beniwestside ok but can you explain please how he is not as good as Weaver? I've seen people use Weaver and she seems very underwhelming. The idea of global is to take a ton of terns and that's exactly what quicksilver does. Plus cleaning positive effects and clearing charges from characters like Weaver and kestrsl in global.
@@cjhandley5211 Weaver is cheaper. You can’t decharge Weaver with QS, because it isn’t unavoidable. You don’t need to decharge Kestrel if you don’t have Doom or QS, nobody else summons.
Legendary nodes are hot steaming piles of dog shit. I didn't bring morgan le fay. I feel like she would've helped. Watching red hulk, doc ock, goblin and omega red get absolutely melted is ridiculous.
