Huffington Post has an article that some high level Hamas leaders are open to a particular Two State Solution.
Hoping that is the path towards a final resolution. Both countries need a break and maybe someday history will see this as the bottom that had to happen for real results to succeed.

Social security and healthcare/Medicare are what we spend the most on every year. So our money is already going back to the people. Veteran benefits, and infrastructure are also among our largest expenditures every year. Not only is it cheaper to send our old equipment to Ukraine, but were also employing more Americans to re-supply our stockpiles. Its a win-win for both Ukraine and the US

The problem is that America is running constant deficits. The latest number of 1 trillion usd more debt every 3 months petrified me. How in the world is that possible? How is that sustainable? Money doesn't grow on trees, but surely we can print them....but is not free. Nothing is. That's why we have inflation, and at some point other countries will stop using the USD because it has become a debt trap. It's already happening, other currencies are being used in global trade. Let Europe handle it, if they don't that means it wasn't that important in the first place.

That is welfare directed at people and companies who definitely don't need it - every tax dollar that was cut, is a tax dollar that is not available to be put to work to aid hard working Americans.
Did you not get your checks during the pandemic? If you lost your job did you get your extended unemployment checks? Did you not benefit from the aid that was supplied to keep businesses open so that when the worst of the pandemic was overcome the economy could surge forward. Have you not benefitted from the infrastructure work that has been taking place and is only now really beginning to ramp up?
Of the $68 billion in aid sent to Ukraine since 2022, $61.2 billion (90%) has been spent in the US. According to analysts, much of that aid money has been spent on over 122 defense production lines in 65 congressional districts. With states such as Texas, Arkansas, Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Florida benefiting the most. Of the new $61 billion aid package, $38.2 billion (63%) will be spent on US defense and military ammo and tech. So in total around $129 billion has been or will be allocated to aid Ukraine. Of that $129 billion, $99.4 billion has been or will be spent in the US. That equates to an average of about 77% of the aid money being spent directly in the US. That doesn’t include the billions allocated for Ukraine to purchase its own weaponry, much of which will again be spent in the US. So…….

When are we going to secure our boarders? This really doesn't help our country. I believe we do need to help other countries BUT we really need to make or boarders a priority. It just seems like the president doesn't hear what the people are worried about. Do you realize that many European nations provide higher percentages of aid to Ukraine than we do? Do you realize how much our industry benefits from the aid we are providing (U.S. jobs, etc.). Do you realize that the majority of arms we supply are from our stockpiles, which are then replaced with newer more up-to-date supplies?
