Have run JCB loadalls for years here in the UK. Currently have a 541-70 Agri Super and a 541-70 Agri Pro. If you can justify it, go for the Agri Pro. The transmission swithches from hydrostatic to torque converter over a certain speed, meaning for yard work it is a dream with barely no need to use the brakes, whereas with a Super standard torque converter, you're always on the brakes and after a while a servo goes and they become numb. Also there is a huge difference in hydraulic cycle times between ours, although there is a few years difference between models.

We just took delivery of our second JCB 532 70 agri and love it so far! We only have 20 hrs on her. Sounds like the parts back in the states is slow(at least the comments say that). We have only had few issues with ours and to be honest for taking dairy farmers abuse its served us well. Mainly changed it over because the trade-in on the old machines with 5000hrs was quite good for the condition of the machine. Really nice machines for loading we use it for TMR 365 i know lots of farms that use them for loading hay and fert and replaced there frontends loader completely. Thanks for the video

That is a very versatile piece of equipment. We had one at our factory that was used for repairing grain tanks, installing windows in buildings, lifting equipment into buildings, installing air and cooling units on roofs, and we also used it to plow snow. It’s was running all the time.
I’m sure you would find many uses for it around your farm😀.
Take care and stay safe 😀

Before you pull the trigger see if you can test drive a JCB TM 320 or 420 their pivot steer telehandler if they're available in the US.

@@BriansFarmingVideos I agree that the 420 is silly money we run a 2011 tm320 and it's unstoppable the only fault we found with it other than regular wear and tear was the fuel sediment bowl which JCB in there wisdom decided to make from plastic which distorted due to the heat in the engine compartment was only resolved when a new old stock glass bowl was found

They are a very popular machine here in the UK but there are other manufacturers with competitive machines - the main ones are Manitou and Merlo but also CAT and Terex as well as others are available.
As usual the principle points are dealer support and regular routine maintenance. A common issue is that there are often lots of operators but no one assumes or is delegated responsibility for the necessary maintenance.

It always amuses me watching Americans talking about telehandlers, they are pretty much essential here in the UK, we run an old Manitou MLT 627. I'm not sure how popular Manitous are in America as its a French company but would certainly be interesting to see one out there. Most UK farms don't have silos/bins so we use the telehandlers to load up semi grain trailers.

I think its worth mentioning. JCB have factory's within America. More than one i believe. They not only supply machines they design them also. Look it up on the net. They make specialized Telehandlers for US military for some years now. So parts may be easier to acquire now. Worth asking the questions.

Were I used to work they had a JCB. I used it to load feedtruck to feed cows. You must grease the main lift cylinder that lifts the arm up every time you use it. We didn't and the cylinder had to get welded up and bored out were the pin goes through. We found that out the hard way.

Running our third jcb teleporter here. Have driven other makes. None come close. Current machine is 2004 model. Running every day 365 on a dairy farm. The only machine you're likely to keep for lifting loads is the forklift. You'll get rid of everything else if you buy the telehandler/loadall/teleporter. Standard piece of kit on most stock farms around here. Get the 38 minimum esp if you think it's a long term purchase. You probably won't need the 3800kg lift too often but it will handle the lighter loads much better.

We put thousands of hours on them on commercial masonry job sites that were usually a muddy mess ( north west PA in the winter)with minimal maintenance. Yeah known as a "Loadall" on this side of the pond. As with all brands they can have their issues, but as a versatile machine with great cycle times for loading and height and reach when you need it they are hard to beat. I would have no problem having one in the fleet but or me at least the deciding factor as with any brand would be dealer support close by, or at least the dealer having a technician close to you that knows the machines that can get you up and running quickly if it's needed.
