My first piece of heavy equipment I ever operated was a tool carrier. A 2018 Model 505-20. I bought one secondhand a few months ago and I love the thing to death. My son finds it odd that I park it in the garage, but it’s a part of the family, just like my pickup!
Back in the early 90s we were thinking about buying a 525-58 and were given a promotional vhs I can just about remember watching it I’m sure I was driven at speed down a muddy track I’d love to see it again?
holy cow thats one hell of a nostalgia hit i felt like i was 5 again for the whole 19 mins. now i have to go to the local library and pick up a whole bunch of old school documentary's the stuff on TV's these days is crap.
We had two tractor loaders, both quicke loaders, powerful and good height, we bought a JCB teleporter and we don’t have the loaders now, once you’ve used one you will never go back to a tractor loader.
Driven tractor loaders since 1968, if you can’t compare a tractor and loader with a teleporter what do you compare it with, try loading grain onto artics or getting into low buildings and tight spaces or pushing up grain, modern grain drills are impossible to load with a tractor and loader, I don’t know anyone going from JCB teleporter back to a tractor and loader.
The description “JCB Loadalls which have been specially designed for agriculture give the adaptability and versatility he looks for with a machine for all seasons.” A selection of #JCB Loadalls in action for the film ‘More Power to the Farmer’ from 1985.
If only I could go back to those days instead of living in these crazy times. Great machines and company!
Me too
Brings me back… great film and machinery for the era.

the most uselfull thing to a farmer is... a mustache, the can't go far without it !
Could spend £4400 on a set of buckets nowadays
I have a 530 70 year 1987 ex tarmac construction painted in there green colour It's still a very capable machine 👍
With modern tracktor loders can do those jobs very well so now its harder to convins us farmers do buy those telescops loaders😉

Bullshit mate. Tractor mounted loader has no business being compared to telescopic loader.

Americans never really got into them but there popular in Europe, I live in Ireland and there everywhere here. It’s great.
