Have run JCB loadalls for years here in the UK. Currently have a 541-70 Agri Super and a 541-70 Agri Pro. If you can justify it, go for the Agri Pro. The transmission swithches from hydrostatic to torque converter over a certain speed, meaning for yard work it is a dream with barely no need to use the brakes, whereas with a Super standard torque converter, you're always on the brakes and after a while a servo goes and they become numb. Also there is a huge difference in hydraulic cycle times between ours, although there is a few years difference between models.
We just took delivery of our second JCB 532 70 agri and love it so far! We only have 20 hrs on her. Sounds like the parts back in the states is slow(at least the comments say that). We have only had few issues with ours and to be honest for taking dairy farmers abuse its served us well. Mainly changed it over because the trade-in on the old machines with 5000hrs was quite good for the condition of the machine. Really nice machines for loading we use it for TMR 365 i know lots of farms that use them for loading hay and fert and replaced there frontends loader completely. Thanks for the video
@@BriansFarmingVideos I agree that the 420 is silly money we run a 2011 tm320 and it's unstoppable the only fault we found with it other than regular wear and tear was the fuel sediment bowl which JCB in there wisdom decided to make from plastic which distorted due to the heat in the engine compartment was only resolved when a new old stock glass bowl was found
They are a very popular machine here in the UK but there are other manufacturers with competitive machines - the main ones are Manitou and Merlo but also CAT and Terex as well as others are available. As usual the principle points are dealer support and regular routine maintenance. A common issue is that there are often lots of operators but no one assumes or is delegated responsibility for the necessary maintenance.
We live in Australia and we buy 4 at a time every few years in the uk and ship them over bc it’s cheaper over there than Aus and make 500k profit selling them too the dealers
As you already know the guys at AES are great people to work with. They are getting my Mahindra soon for an axle seal, under warranty, but barely. When Dad was there last week,Sabina, They thanked us for all the business we have brought them. That same loader or a teleskid will be my next loader. They are awesome with a hay grapple and fly thru the field.
That is a very versatile piece of equipment. We had one at our factory that was used for repairing grain tanks, installing windows in buildings, lifting equipment into buildings, installing air and cooling units on roofs, and we also used it to plow snow. It’s was running all the time. I’m sure you would find many uses for it around your farm😀. Take care and stay safe 😀
I like watching your videos, how you all get along. I might be the same age as your dad,or maybe a slight younger. I bet he is proud of his 2 sons and the interest you both take in the farm. And have to also mention the supporting cast of the wives and kids. Soon your son will be going dad and grandpa, and I mean really helping. It appears to me he has the farm gene.
We have a jcb agri pro same one we use it everyday it hasn’t died at all in the Western Australia heat they work perfect and with bales well that’s a different thing works so well I use it for feeding our cows
Bob is sharp as a tack , he was doing the moments of digging out of a pile to load a spreader , to see how it compared to the loader ! I'll bet he suffers like myself ,being the smartest SOB in the room every where he goes !
It always amuses me watching Americans talking about telehandlers, they are pretty much essential here in the UK, we run an old Manitou MLT 627. I'm not sure how popular Manitous are in America as its a French company but would certainly be interesting to see one out there. Most UK farms don't have silos/bins so we use the telehandlers to load up semi grain trailers.
I think its worth mentioning. JCB have factory's within America. More than one i believe. They not only supply machines they design them also. Look it up on the net. They make specialized Telehandlers for US military for some years now. So parts may be easier to acquire now. Worth asking the questions.
Looks like a versatile machine which in your operation for fertilizer possibly grain gravel and the lift extension availability can be of use in machinery repair lifting in given circumstances.
Running our third jcb teleporter here. Have driven other makes. None come close. Current machine is 2004 model. Running every day 365 on a dairy farm. The only machine you're likely to keep for lifting loads is the forklift. You'll get rid of everything else if you buy the telehandler/loadall/teleporter. Standard piece of kit on most stock farms around here. Get the 38 minimum esp if you think it's a long term purchase. You probably won't need the 3800kg lift too often but it will handle the lighter loads much better.
My Dad has an older 520. Good machine. One thing to keep in mind unless they have changed since 520, parts are expensive and the hydraulic fittings are English and hard to get.
Were I used to work they had a JCB. I used it to load feedtruck to feed cows. You must grease the main lift cylinder that lifts the arm up every time you use it. We didn't and the cylinder had to get welded up and bored out were the pin goes through. We found that out the hard way.
Interesting there is no kind of hitch on the back to give it another purpose to help out and tow something a wagon, implement , to a field or a header.
Wont beat a jcb loader mate! One of the best on the market by far! Cat wont go anywhere near it! Youll never want to go back to anything other than a telehandler
my neighbor bought a telehandler this summer with extra long reach that extended40ft he mounted a flag put it up in the air then a storm was coming he got in it to lower the boom down he hit the wrong button and raised the lower stabilizer leg that thing tipped over on its side and nocked the end of his shed to the ground.he had to get a crane out to lift it back up,surprisingley it did not hurt the loader much, a lession learned.
JCB will call them a Loadall. The Ag models are solid machines and the dealer we have ohio is pretty good. Livelink can be very useful on these machines.
Pay a bit more and get the AGRI super or agri pro model you won’t look back!! Also add a pick up hitch really useful. It’ll also replace your skid steer
Before you buy a JCB Tele handler you need to go out to RUclips website Western truck and tractor repair last year he fixed a transmission in a Tele handler and it cost a fortune and parts are hard to get go out and look at that U2 website I wouldn’t on a JCB because a part accessibility they use Tele handler‘s to stack 1800 pound square bales In these big barns to feed cattle and feed lots in southern Oregon and Northern California it’s a very interesting video he’s got several on repairing JCB tell handler’s
They make a nice machine, they are a little bouncy at the 5000 lb limit, check out the cat telehandlers, they make a solid machine, they arnt as fast but outta the dozens I’ve driven on different job sites cat has been a nice one to drive
This is question on cab corn you brought up during this past harvest Other you tube channels have brought this question up in great details If You go to Canadian Tractor Spotter 9560 STS combine harvest video You will see something funny Thanks for posting

Nice! I think you should buy both. LOL Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching
You should for sure buy it
Brilliant machines. You will wonder how you lived without one, once you get used to it.
That is my favorite restaurant

I enjoyed the telescopic camera zoom in and out, and a double-take whenever your dad agreed with you! LOL
If only everyone knew how GOOD Der Dutchman is......they have they best pies.
Wonderful to see you enjoy the days you have with your father, Brian. Mine departed to young.
I have new gmc Denali diesel and am getting 23 mpg imperial gallon. Only 600 miles. Hopefully get s better after a few miles
1500 or 2500 or 3500
Great video Brian and your Dad
I heard Bob asking the salesman about Ollie's farm videos.....I myself am a huge fan also. Way to be boss man Bob.....I couldn't agree more.
Before you pull the trigger see if you can test drive a JCB TM 320 or 420 their pivot steer telehandler if they're available in the US.
Would love one but unfortunately a bit out of our price range

I ran a model from 2016 when i worked in Scotland. It was pretty awesome. Gave us no issues.

Awesome looking telehandler Brian
Nice machines
Like your dads new truck!
We have 65110 I think that's the number it's a 10,000 lbs machine with outriggers. Nice machine parts are a little rough but a decent machine.
Great Vlog, JCB is highly rated in the UK, thanks for sharing

JCB nice stuff and those trackters wow.
Nice of you to visit the cat. That's something I would do. Lol
Nice video, I like shopping for new equipment, and it's nice that the salesman is on film explaining things 👊👊👍
Telehandlers are a great multiuse tool for sure.
Awesome telehandler. We have 4 JCBs at work and are very useful, but the spare parts are expensive, as the Class parts.👍😊
That’s my local dealer. Great people
I ate at Der Dutchman a year and a half ago when we were in Ohio, I was making those "Old Man" noises when we left!
Agri pro is a brilliant machine the bucket is a multi tool use it for everything
We have a jcb agri pro same one we use it everyday it hasn’t died at all in the Western Australia heat they work perfect and with bales well that’s a different thing works so well I use it for feeding our cows

This side of the pond we call it a 'teleporter '
JCB =Joseph Cyril Bamforth.

Interesting. Good to know.
i operated one of these last october and i liked it. has an amazingly small turning radius
Farm machines have sure come a long way. Pretty awesome machine. Looks like we could see one of them parked in your yard soon. Great video
Man, corn and beans is the way to go i quess, anybody needs some milking cows, thanks Brian greetings from a Dutch dairyfarmer
Tele handlers are the ducks nuts. When you get use to them they are amazing for loading bales on trucks etc.
Congratulations on the new telescopic loader!

Offloaded at Cline Energy today in Londonderry. Propane exemption. Gidditty. Head to TX tomorrow. Be safe everybody.
Can’t beat a JCB Brian
I own a 3.0 Duramax as well! Great truck!!!
i have heard that motor only lasts 100k...but then thats 30k more than the fiat dodge
You guys are just like us. Plan your trips around eatin 👍🏻👍🏻
I like JLG. Mostly because I think they have the best joystick layout.
Looks like a versatile machine which in your operation for fertilizer possibly grain gravel and the lift extension availability can be of use in machinery repair lifting in given circumstances.
I always thought those JCB Tractors were pretty wild...cuz there fast n front Pto!👍👍💯
Anytime you can eat at the Dee Dutchman, is a good trip.
In the UK we use telehandlers all the time load semi’s and fertiliser spreaders all season it’s like my right hand.
What a fast telehandler get your self's a go with a manitou make a jcb look slow plus with a bucket you can shack stuck lime out better.
Great bit of kit get the old man to buy it
YES.. finally.. "dejavu" just love the small things for us to find..

Two leavers no buttons propper jcb

Yeah we are hoping to use it as a loader so at least the 538 for us
I ate at the Der Dutchman going through Ohio wonderful Everything! I loved the fluffanutter! Took some home to SC
That Telehandler is the same as mine
Cool
Nice loaders buying itru
Telehandlers are bread and butter in the UK!
I have a JCB TM 320 it is worth a look a good alternative because it is a combination of both Tele handler and front end loader with good vision.

It comes with one
Looks pretty nice. That long reach would be nice. Couple farms in our area have the Manitou telehandler. I think JCB builds good machines though
You should also look into the merlo multi farmer as well before making a purchase Some models have 3pth hydraulics and pto and a drawbar out the back
The ole Der Dutchman in mansfield. They have the best Peanut butter pie and Butterfinger Fudge. I sure do miss it

31mpg...impressive.
I don't understand the thumbs down. What are people looking for, these videos are for our entertainment, thanks
We had a 525-60 on our farm and was nothing but a problem and jcbs service was bad to
Nice.
You'll like it, road speed 24 mph, best loader . Wouldn't be without it at our Feedlot.
You should try a Manitou if you get a chance 👌
I’m going to go out on a limb and say you guys have sold the lawn care shop. New farm shop this year? Really enjoy your videos.
So far your the first to guess
@@BriansFarmingVideos if they sold it-then we get to see the new shop go flying up this summer for sure. glad for em.
@t A real need to read for all farmers in the USA and across the Planet.

Dodge Cummins come standard with ghost trailer.
They must ! I take my pocket knife and scratch WIDE and LOAD on the back of each mirror to help on coming traffic ! Just a giver !
If you buy One When chair before delivery it has a Radio in it And I love my Mine
Lol love the mirror comment
Parts are expensive and all metric hoses I would take a JLG
I drive past the JCB plant in Uttoxeter in the UK most weeks where those r made !!
They have plants making them in north America .
01:12 Edited out the mandatory one hour nap after every Der Dutchman meal.
