What is the purpose of using ‘this’ keyword in Java (Core Java Interview Question

In this session, I have explained the different purpose of using 'this' keyword in Java. this keyword simply means object of current class in Java. Using this keyword we can differentiate the class instance variables from the method or constructor parameters when their names are same. this keyword can also be used to return the object of the same class as a return type in methods. this() can be used to call the other constructors in the same class. this keyword can used to pass the object of the current class to a method while calling it. this keyword in java, can be used to call the methods inside the same class. With practical demonstration by writing Java programs, I have explained several ways of using 'this' keyword in Java.
