Great product and demonstration Shiva, as always! Couple of questions, 1. Could you please provide the L x H in inches please 2. Will this work with the Highland models if we take our own top plates and swap them out, since the one that comes with it is the basic buttons?
agreed, I think Tesla made this steering wheel for the Cybertruck with the intention that it's steer by wire and so you only had to turn it 180% for a full turn. Without steer by wire, i don't see the advantage of it over the regular steering wheel maybe except a little better visibility.
@@AnTran-ue6cg More comfortable than the traditional wheel when you have your hand on the bottom. Easier to use doing a three-point turn than a yoke and you can also drive trucker style.
I found copy of model x yoke for model 3 and Y even with buttons and airbag.. I prefer buttons for indicators its so much better for sporty ride ❤ Currently only on alliexpres but it looks absolutely like OEM.. I can not copy link here but would be nice to see anyone who can test it 😊 I am still considering if I should buy it because I afraid of warranty of baterry for example.. I heard one example where Tesla did not accept Basic warranty due to 3rd party installed speaker which is insane.. So I would be careful with installing displays and similar devices plugged into obd adapter for example.. Shiva....you almost had me fooled.....you changed out the air bag cover but when you showed it all installed, the old one with the Tesla "T" was back on.....I like the Tesla "T"......Great video.....I have been contemplating on the standard yoke, but this give me the upper portion to grab and it still allows for the instrument panel to be installed....DId I miss the link to buy? Is it a Hansshow?
all that trouble just to change the steering wheel? I highly doubt you need to do all this! Every other video just shows powering off from the center console. You are making it hard on yourself and everyone else who's following your tutorial!
id say the airbag cover with tesla on it is a must have for this one

24:07 There is a foam insulation from the original board housing which probably needs to be transferred to the new housing…

You didn't have to swap the buttons? After the installation, both buttons and the horn no longer works for me.

Dude. You don’t show how it blocks your center console. This is a bad move.
