How to prepare for nclx
I have not yet graduated but I have a few question. 1. I'm from Canada and when I do apply would I have to take the IELTS exams? 2. I want to work in the Nicu, do you guys help with that? and 3. Can I choose where I would like to work (which state?) Thank you
Hi Hope! Thanks for your questions. You don't need to have passed the IELTS exam to apply for the Avant program. We need more information on where you completed your initial nursing program to advise further on the need for IELTS later in process. We do not have openings for NICU currently. As for placements, we consider your preferences but do need you to be open and flexible on which state you'll be placed.

@@love2seeyoudear hello! To meet US licensure and immigration requirements IELTS is the exam you want to take. The scores you want to attain are a minimum of 6.0 in reading, listening, and writing, and a 7.0 in speaking. Overall band score must be at least 6.5.

If you only hold an RM license and not an RN license, you do not meet the requirements for RN licensure in the US and Avant is unable to place or assist those who hold only an RM license.
