Thank you! John said that he has never felt as comfortable on stage as he was last night at MSG! At one point he said that he felt like the room was like a big living room! Yes, his music filled the room for over 2 hours and that in itself is a feat that is rare! And he said his 95 year old dad was there!
Anyone else catch at 5:11 he says "that's a way to start a film"? I've been wondering if he's filming this tour to make another concert film, like Where the Light Is. He's had lots of cameras recording him, and the shots on the monitors are super cinematic.
I thought John said “that’s the way to start a show”, but my hearing isn’t as good as it once was! I’ll have to listen on my desktop speakers. I do think it’s totally possible that he’s taping for concert video. I’ve been seeing some posts of people saying that. I would love for that to be true!
