Linnie210 Zimbabwe has had 37 years of majority black rule. A country rich in mineral wealth.Fertile land. Until recently, a very well educated population....and yet Zimbabwe is worse off now than thirty years ago. This cannot be all the white man's fault. White colonialism exploited Zimbabwe, I agree, but at what time do you stop blaming whites and look to Zimbabwe's gov't aka ZANU-PF for the countries problems? These are not troops from other African nations, or other countries. This is Zimbabwe's own military reacting to an internal power struggle within ZANU-PF. I doubt very much that whites had anything to do with this coup,(if you want to call it that). The Zimbabwean military leaders are veterans of the war for majority rule in Zimbabwe against the gov't of Ian Smith's Rhodesia. I doubt very much any of them would take any orders from any white man. But it's always the same old saw....thing's aren't going right for Africans, it's always the white mans fault....and it's getting really tired.
