This is what GLaDOS did between test chambers in portal 2.
i just realized that the panels can solve the tests themselves oh my god
Why not test with panels? Lol
I imagine that would cause GLaDOS to shortcircuit, though I wonder why it didn't happen in the fake ❤️ test during the escape sequence...
I honestly feel like panels are a unappreciated item, in fact we wouldn't have test chambers without them
And that would be a good thing for test subjects actually x)
@@AngryCaesCorporation well now they'd just be subjects
Wow. I mean, wow. The modeling, rigging, and animation is astounding. But also, dang, the sound design is top notch!! Well done.
The cutest thing in portal 2 is the one panel playing with a cube
Im very confused on how you haven't blown up yet, your animations with panels is insane, you move them perfectly as they were in the game.
You know I wonder the same. I’m not a RUclips genius and I have no clue why one of my videos got 20K views. I would like to reproduce that but I can’t help but feel like it’s a little random.
This one definitely will, it just needs time
I think its prob because the portal community is getting smaller over time
You could tell me that these were official animated shorts and I wouldn't bat an eye they look sooo good
Aperture ran out of test subjects so the panels are left on their own
The panels with black tiles and with the warm lighting are aesthetically pleasing to see.
That core is an artist.
Panels are my favorite thing in portal 2 and I love this well done
5:12 it seems that some panels are sentient which want to save the cube
I think the panels with the blue glow is glados and the orange panels are controlled by whoever this core is.
Lets all be honest, we feel bad taking away the cube that the panel was playing with in chamber 10
panels are like, the best thing ever
Valve's sound design in Portal 2 is tope notch stuff.
I’m remastering these episodes now!
Here’s episode 1! ruclips.net/video/TneyQcNAFL0/видео.htmlsi=6rZ-HFTQ1k0hz3Ql
all your channel is my favourite
Everything
All
I would wanna see a new game like this so hecking much, new functionality to the Panels as well as a new story line! I mean we've seen Aperture Desk Job and how it's completely non-cannon, why not have this as one of them? The concept of seeing the chamber change with progress, the rooms moving as you stand within a test chamber, as well as the idea that there might be so many ways to implement more unique uses of the things that make up an entire test chamber, is surprising and interesting.
And to top it all off, the animation is incredible and very very polished
Subbed and liked!
These panel animations are so satisfying to watch, the multiverse ones are cool too and really creative
Heck every vid on this channel is cool
Thanks!
This would make a cool puzzle game honestly. Like you can control the white panels to move things and stuff, and the panel that’s hiding the end point would could be either just a black panel that’s constantly open (or opening and closing on a timer) or a white panel with a sign on it (the black ones would have the sign too) and it just depends on what fits the level best (so both would be used) and it would be just so cool. And also this goes against what happens in the animation I do want a plot of some sort so the orange-glow panels are the enemy that want to get the cube to GLaDOS for evil purposes and the blue panels (you) realize that it’s for evil purposes and tries to stop it.
Perhaps the orange panels are the part of the facility that got sealed off
That companion cube has went through a lot of chambers hasn’t it
*angry panel noises*
I love how there is a mini story in here
I like seeing the old animations with sound
I cant say how good is this video, i really love panels in portal 2, if in the future this mechanic will be cheaper i will buy one robot panel like this
Its interesting to see how much the portal players love the good lookin led chambers, okat they are cool but i dont think cave johnson wanted this💀
i can watch this all day.
The test chamber when no one is watching
I love this. I don’t know where this cub is going but I am enjoying the journey. Keep it up
ALL of these are awesome. the animation work is amazing, the sound design is well done, and all of them are just so satisfying. id love to see like, wallpaper loops of these things
Wow the animation is so good! And also how does this only have 678 likes?
You mean to tell me the test chambers could have been solving themselves this whole time?
Oh my goodness… INCREDIBLE, I LOVE THIS
No wonder Panels makes me think they have a Consciousness when they move..
Would love to see old aperture feature!
very good, excellent job! one feedback I can give is that the animation feels, in general, a bit floaty. I think increasing the speed of the movements and the strength of gravity would make it more satisfying - try watching this video in 1.5x or even 2x speed, and then go back to 1x. it feels like slow motion. other than that, I loved it!
why is it so satisfying
this is what GlaDOS does when shes bored
Contrary to popular belief the arms dont stay behind the panels the arms move the panels yes but they dont hold it up, canonicly all the panels are just connected
I never realized how incomplete aperture would be without panels. One could argue that panels single handedly make aperture better than black mesa, and I'd agree.
this is so underrated
Thanks!
damn, thats satisfying
I was wondering where you got the models from, like u ported them from portal or got them from somewhere.Anyway fantastic work,im looking forward to making similar stuff.Theese will probably blow up sometime later
Thanks. It’s a mix of ported models and custom models. All of the panels are my models. I’ve ported a lot of the models and completely remade the textures to fit the style. If you make something I’ll check it out.
Panels lore go hard
3:48 this would have been my computer's wallpaper if I had a computer 😅
Wow this is amazing
*p* *a* *n* *e* *l* *s*
That works too
This is honestly so impressive! Amazing work!
this is amazing
the LORE
OH MY GOOOD THATS SOO COOOL HOWD YOU MANAGED TO DO THAT
I'm the only one still thinking about how these panels work they can fly or that how they move while not having a place to support them
Don’t worry about it
@@LaserCasserole I made the same room out of plasticine and plasticine panels and understood how they work
everything about this is just perfect!
Panels playing with cubes XD
Poor Companion Cube (nice animation btw)
Very cool
at least chamber 13 has ten cakes
wow this is really nice. I personally love the lighting in this vid.
nice well done
I can't understand its story. the black and orange ones kidnapped that companion cube?
They are setnient of course
My question is how you made the whole system itself, don't rigid bodies have different movements until you bake them? Wouldn't that make it hard to make the panels react to it?
It’s easier than it might seem! Since the panels are what’s moving the cube around, I spend most of the time adjusting the animations to make sure it moves them properly. If the cubes not quite going far enough, I’ll speed up the animation which would make for a stronger push. Every time I make an adjustment I’ll bake again. The baking is flexible and for the most part I can edit and add to the bake without problems.
Hello bro can you do tutorial pls😭
1:12 😭
Mmmm yummy cube
I still dont understand how these things connect tho
AMAZING also 50th comment
Where did you get panels model?
I made it.
