I’m so happy that you’ve reviewed this one, since I’ve always been curious about it and have heard mixed opinions. It’s probably not for me since I have dry/dehydrated skin with some dry patches. Thanks, chickadee🍃🌸
This is by far my favorite foundation! I’m one of those that likes to change it up with my makeup, but I’ve bought multiple bottles of it. For me the shade range is great, it looks natural on my skin (I’m NOT a full coverage kinda gal), and seems to last well on me. I love foundations that look like your skin but better, and this one does just that. My skin is dry and dehydrated but I haven’t had any issues with it emphasizing patches. Love you em!
Thanks for this vid, Emily...your content is so good! Can you please let us know what eyeliner you're using...and please give us an eyeliner video. I have the same shape as you and need help!!!
I'm oily but this is my HG foundation because I have an exact match and it looks like my skin and wears beautifully throughout the day. I do need to touch up after 4-5h depending on how I prep my face but it's worth it .
Great review! :) I tried this bc EVERYYYYY beauty blogger was raving about it but this foundation did me wrong! I did my normal routine and used the same products I normally use and within 2 hours the foundation around my nose was lifted with balls of grease and streaks. :( and I don't even have oily skin. I wanted to love it but it just didn't work for me.
This is the only foundation (shade 4) that I have found that matches me exactly in the winter. I don't wear liquid foundation very often so I have a hard time justifying it. I saw in my last Sephora visit they came out with a mini so I am interested in that. I have dehydrated combo skin as well and would be interested in another formula but similar shade. I haven't tried it in a while but it worked well on me then. I prefer the look of mineral though.
Let’s be honest, no foundation is perfect. We all have texture on our skin, our skin isn’t perfect either. We expect wayyy to much from our foundations hoping they make us look filter perfect. I have dry skin and this foundation works really well. Any foundation would start to crease and look tired if you leave it on for 12+ hours. If we go on for 12+ hours it will start to show on our face, we can’t expect a foundation to make us look not tired.
That's a really great review. I feel kind of the same with this foundation. It's kind of good but I was really disappointed with it :( It looks so dry on my not really dry skin (more normal to combo skin). And when applying with the sponge it looks so separated on my face. I will still use it 'cause when I get it to work it looks nice and lasts all day for me but I definitely won't repurchase it.
Curious about this one. Never tried it. Heard great things about it. I don’t think I need it thanks to you Emily. The Teint Idole is still the one I want
@@elenacarrozzo5472 Agreed. I have both and they are so very similar. Made me wonder why I bothered with the Armani LS. The bottle is prettier though, haha.
This was my go to foundation, but I was always kinda "sad" that it didn't last very long on me. But since I got the new Sisley foundation, I tried but can't go back to the Armani's Luminous Silk, just not worth it/ comparable.
I love these foundation reviews. Very similar to someone else I watch (you probably know her). However I love that you do the dry VS wet swatches. And loot great. I can barely tell you're still swollen honestly.
I have this foundation . Funny thing that when I bought it 2 years ago, I didn’t like how it looked on my skin , I used to use Chanel vita luminier and I was expecting they are similar but they are not. So I stopped wearing it for a while , and recently I started wearing it again , and I love it how it looks and sits on my skin, lol
Just needed to say that I honestly have sooooo much eyeliner envy when I watch your videos 😂

This looks really natural and light in coverage, I like the way it doesn't give a heavy makeup look
This is the best foundation ever. I have tried many luxury foundations and any of them wasn't even close to GA. I think it works well on mature skin.

Hi Emily, would you consider doing a BB/CC cream series?
I can't see myself spending more than $25 for foundation. But I will still watch foundation reviews lol
I wached your video from 3 years before this and you loved it.

That foundation is so pretty, I recibed a sample long time ago , but is very expensive. I prefer pf healthy foundation.
Have you tried the 'Lasting Silk' from Giorgio Armani? 😊
It truly is my favorite but I never hear anyone talking about it!
Hey can u do a swatch video of Mac’s powder kiss lipsticks?

I really wanted to try this foundation! Thanks for reviewing!
Shade 4 is for warm undertone, shade 4.5 is for neutral undertone. Has everyone with mature skin tried this fdt? Would u recommend it?
Which eyeliner did you use? It looks intact even after a long day
Thanks for the review Em x I am loving Clinique even better at the moment x

Which one is more matte this one or the Lancôme teint idole?
Definitely Lancôme!
No intention of buying this but have to watch you anyway 🥰💋

Do any of you lovely people know a good dupe for luminous silk? It’s one of my all time favorites but I can’t justify the price :(
also Healthy Mix from Bourjois! I used them both on different sides of my face and literally... no difference at all.
L'Oreal 24HR Fresh Wear is also a good dupe
@@elenacarrozzo5472 Agreed. I have both and they are so very similar. Made me wonder why I bothered with the Armani LS. The bottle is prettier though, haha.
I love this foundation is one of my favorites
Do u know any dupes maybe from the drugstore for that foundation?❤️
@Cristina PG thanks iv never tried that one!
@Cristina PG good to know cuz i dont wanna spend for the giorgio one, thanks girl🧡
What’s your favorite for mature textured skin with dry patches but still acne prone? Thanks!!
What’s your Mac shade
You look amazing emily

Hey emily is that your natural hair color or do you dye it? Your hair is so beautiful
Natural color!
Which shade you used ??
Have you tried shade 4.5?

Is the Chanel one you mentioned the discontinued one? If not, what’s different about it to the one you use? Thanks!!
Thanks , subcribed
What is the eyeliner that do you wear?
Luminous Silk is not a powdery finish lol it is luminous and dewy.
I find it more of a powdery satin finish on my dry skin, I do not get the gooey dewy finish on my skin.
Which foundation is your holy grail
What texture? Even zoomed in I can hardly see a pore on your face.
