It just makes me sick to see what’s going on in this country now days, I never thought I’d see what’s going on in the United States of America in my lifetime. I’m proud that parents like you are still trying to teach their kids the be responsible adults. There are so many adults that are afraid or against firearms because they were never taught about firearms safety and how enjoyable it is to “backyard plink”. That will be a lesson in Frankie’s life that will be so useful to her for the rest of her life. Not to mention the fond memories for her as well. Keep doing what you’re doing and God Bless.

Hi Mike and Syd. I’m trying to find some comfort. I just ran across your channel and the word ‘Banned’ got my attention. I suffered a tragic loss. I lost my wife of 21 years to Covid a year ago on Sept 21. Then my mother passed from a heart attack on Dec. 28…last year. It was a plan of my wife and I to travel the US this coming summer. I’ve talked, chatted and spoken with others, but the comforting, I don’t feel it. So I’m 66, still employed and I own my house in Dallas. My house is no longer a h❤️me. It’s very difficult for me to be there. I plan on selling it come Spring as soon as I can get rid of everything inside. That’s what I’m living with.
As for you two and what you do, you have my support! I am pro2A, and a Veteran. I taught my grand daughter when she was 8, the firearms safety rules and she not only had to recite them, she had to explain them. She’s a good shot!

I saw nothing in the video that was wrong your doing your daughter a great service teaching her to be responsible and safe .. I was given a bow at 7 yr old and my first bb gun ... I did so well with the toys that I set the dinner table with meat many times ... I was not raised with many luxuries oh heck who am I kidding we were dirt poor when I was a child and I am the oldest of 7 ... but thanks to a very fatherly man in the area I was given my first 22 and taught how to use it and became a major provider for the family for many years. I am thankful to that man still today for taking the time to teach me so much especially considering I'm a female...

Hunting deer either by GUN or BOW. was apart of our life .We had several rifles and shot guns in our home and never had an issue with our children .Our son first deer was at 9 yrs old and my husband had taken him from the age of 8 hunting with him to observe and learn what his grandfather learned my husband as a child. Our son was in boy scouts and at 10 yrs old could go through a GUN safety class that my husband so he could get his orange card from the state trained certified teacher. God bless you guys for being awesome parents. My dad gave us boys our first BB guns at 8 years old, sternly taught us what and what not to shoot at, and not just to kill anything for fun. By 12 years old we had 22 rifles and hunted rabbits to feed us and our dogs. By 15 we had shotguns for bird hunting and learned handgun safety. Back then we would walk miles out to the sticks away from homes so there were no accidents. Even then in Texas the cops would see us carrying guns and would just stop to ask us what we were doing. They would check and see that our guns were not loaded or chambered until we got to the hunting pasture. They got our names in case of incidents, and told us to have fun and to always be safe. Keep up the great content, hope RUclips will stop controlling great content, as it serves to help other folks to teach their young about firearms and safety.

I’m also 67 years old and have never seen any thing like this before, even drove my pickup truck to school with my shotgun and rifle in the back window gun rack and never had any problems!

Good morning! This is my 2 cents worth. Time's are different now. I am oldest of 7 children. My Dad had me me learning to hunt at the age of 12. My children learned from there father. These are skills I am proud of. It's to bad our times have change for the worst in this crazy world.

So glad you guys can show her how it is in an area were she will be able to grow and learn some amazing lessons. How to hunt your own food is a lesson everyone needs to know. Hunting, fishing and gardening are amazing lessons to learn.

My Dad taught me how to use a rifle, when I was 8 years old. The very first thing he taught me, is all guns are loaded. It sucks that you could face a punishment, for doing the right thing, and teaching your daughter how to be safe, and responsible.

Syd nailed it about the libraries. Whats sad is that they are teaching that S in school too. We need to stick together to teach our family the right way. If not our kids, next generation will be corrupt and looking for handouts, etc. Keep up the awesome work!

I belonged to the Rifle Club in High School in the 1960's. My 2 sons went to our state Fish & Game for hunting safety training, so did my 3 grandchildren. We All Learned! No regrets! Check your state fish & game training and if available, go with your daughter. Guaranteed you will all benefit & hopefully so will the class.
Two things that really got to everyone in that training was the movies of hunting accidents & at the shooting range, the instructors fired at produce, i.e. large, as big around as a fore arm size potatoes, head of cabbage, watermelon, & block of ice. Immediately after being shot each item was passed around, still hot & smoldering! After all of that, individually, each with an instructor, started target practice.

Keep up the great work folks ! Sad about how things are changing especially with regard to the hysteria associated with videos showing firearms. It was way cool to see you both sporting your hip pew-pews in one of your earlier videos which I thought would have been flagged by the RUclips cops. Oh well, I'm sure this is one of the reasons that drove you to leave the "West Coast". Looking forward to more great stuff !

Hey again guys! Watched your patreon video, thanks, it looked like a fun day. I have a suggestion for your .22 pistol, try firing it with the safety opposite of how you had it. I have an " El Cheapo" 1911 style .22 pistol that the safety is different than what you would think. In "safe" the trigger will still pull and the hammer drops but no bang. Flip the safety the other way and bang! Let me know if this works. Also get the ladies shooting the long gun off of some sort of rest. It will be more comfortable, tighten their groups and boost their confidence. Hope this helps.

I'm about to go watch you video now!! I AM SO GLAD YOU FOUND A WAY TO GET IT UP!!!
I THINK THE REASON THEY ARE BEING SO STRICT ABOUT THE POSTING OF THOSE TYPES OF VIDEOS IS BECAUSE THEY DONT WANT THE MISGUIDED TYPES OF CHILDREN TO WATCH THE VIDEONAND LEARN HOW TO SHOOT FOR THE WRO G REASONS
ALL THESE MASS SHOOTING HAVE PEOPLE ON EDGE I KNOW THAT IS NOT YOUT FAULT OR PROBLEM AND HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH WHY YOU WERE GOING POST THAT VIDEO!!!
❤️❤️❤️ YALL!!! SORRY FOR INTERNET BEING SUCH A MISUSED PLACE THIS DAY AND AGE

Hi guys I am from Northern California and my kids all grew up around guns from bb pellet on up best thing you can do is to give them hands on with firearms not only for the safety reasons but so they can have an informed choice as they get older about firearms and leaving them with an open mind about them and non- biased as they get older for sure.

A parents role is to educate, to promote respect, follow rules, discipline. So teaching a child to drive a car, which if used incorrectly can be dangerous. I remember Outdoors with the Morgan’s who have a target range in their woods, tried some different pistols. I wonder how that faired
