    I think there's a mistake in this video. If this is a velocity vs. time graph, shouldn't the area under the curve be displacement rather than distance? Velocity can be negative. Once the curve goes below the time axis, we should be calculating area above the curve no?

      there is no such thing as a speed-time graph, only a velocity-time graph.
      speed and velocity are not the same though.

      Actually, if the velocity is in the positive area, displacement equals distance.(in highschool level)
